Hey guys! Well i was cruiser-less for 7 months since i sold my fj40. I have just aquired a 77 LWB. I will post pics once i have it in my hands! Just out of town for work for a few weeks.

It has a damaged roof nd i will be replacing it but right now im unsure how to do it haha. Is there a write up anywhere here that shows it?

Thanks guy!

So happy to be able to post here now!

Congrats!

I believe you are saying you are going to replace the complete roof or repair it? Either way you are in the right place for help. Just post some photos and post your questions.
Welcome to the 45 side.

Thank you very much!!!

Yes The current top has issues. The previous owner is including a "better" top piece. Sorry brain fart the white piece the rest of the actual hard top wont be touched.

Well here it is!!! So excited to start the whole process. Ive been waiting 10 years

Look at Aqualu.com they have the top in fiberglass . Not sure if it's what you are looking at .
Where are you in canada ? I found a top like 6 years ago really rusty and like 1200$ no rear glass ...

Congrats !

Seems like a very nice truck to start with.

Took it out for a drive this afternoon as i finally had time off work. I love it more and more i drive it! Still working on the idle issue im having.

Thanks for the link! I have a call into gozzard!

I have a spare roof also i may get it acid dipped then try my hand at a roof repair.

Yes lots of pics for sure. Driving me crazy right now with how i want to proceed with it. Not sure how much i wanna take it apart right now lol. I have that frame repairs i need to address which will require the bed being removed. Also trying to source a new or newer bed in better shape. I still would like access to my garage. Cause once i start tearing into it then there will be no room for anything inside but cruiser-mania. Also i have a bunch of body panels etc. to order before i get too crazy. So im leaning towards not doing alot on it till spring as i have to propane heat my garage to work on it. The floor in the cab has a couple issues so that will need fixing also. Best way will prob to take the cab off.

Its a viscious cycle i tell yah!!!! I wanna fix it fast but i also wanna fix it right!

Suhweeeeet! Dude, that roof is not that bad! (And the bed is in much better shape than mine!!) If you go with a new bed let me know, it might be worth my time trying to resurrect that one (though quite a drive to pick it up)

Ok i had some time this aft to gets some photos of all the issues on the truck.

Roof

"newer roof included in sale"

Bondo issue on one of the rear corners. Not sure what else ill find as the PO bedlined the outside super thick so gotta peel that off.
