Looks great, and def one of my favorite colors. That color combo is very hard to find. Ironically, I have silver metallic and for whatever reason, I have not seen another one anywhere in NY. How many miles does your new rig have? Looks like a great find, and of course you have the luxury of knowing the service history which is great. I am originally from Va, so I am confident the undercarriage looks great, especially if she never took it out in the snow. I have 275/70/18s, but after seeing your rig, I am almost ready to rip out my perfectly working AHC and life it :) Congrats Lou, she looks amazing.

Lou, those look great!! My 295/75R16 rub in the same spot on mine and I have a 2.5 OME lift. Just on the passenger side, not the drivers.

Awesome ride. I have a 2000 LX that I just bought and starting to do a few things to it as well.

The truck has 127K on it and surprisingly the undercarriage is really clean.. Going to work on the HID projector conversion tomorrow which I'm doing on the headlights and the fog lights. This is the best $150 upgrade one can do if you have the LX which comes with factory projectors
.... I can't wait to have the matching lights I'll running in my 80

Here's a shot with just the low beam on the 80

127k miles is just stretching her legs. I am very interested in the $150 HID projector conversion. Can you point me to where I can purchase this kit? And, maybe I can reach out to you and you can walk me through the installation? Again, your rig looks amazing and I am very jealous as my silver metallic now looks boring lol. I have been considering stepping up to a 200 series, but am unsure. All I have done is add 275/70/18 Cooper's, and she is 100% baselined and has all maintenance done down to heater T's. I don't know if I should just start modding her, or get a 200 and mod the heck out of it....decisions :)

I picked up both kits from The Retrofit Source | The Best HID & LED Projector Headlight Upgrades and truth be told when it comes to electrical i usually pay to have it done ...as i did the the 80 headlights but this retrofit ... according to everything I've read is pretty easy but I have my ace Charles, a local mudder who can do this swap in his sleep who may step in and finish the details. I'll link the retro fit that Nick did using the stock projector ... Nick had 100 and did the swap for the 80 and the 100 crowd here on MUD....he also worked at Retrofit Source.
LX470 Projector - TSX-R Lens Swap
His swap is detailed and explains just how good the stock projector is ... I'll also link Charles Retrofit using the Lexus SC430 projectors which is one of the best projectors out there but you could pay $300 just for the projectors
Lexus LX470 retrofitted with Lexus SC430 projectors.
Dirtdawg put all these into one thead

I saw this one on ebay. It was tastefully modified. I like the wheels and the lift makes the stance look great. They are asking $24,500.....I wouldn't pay that, but it looks great.

Working for Lexus has a few perks. Called the director of our bodyshop and asked him what happens to all the headlights that are removed from wrecked cars that can no longer be used.... he said he sells them to a guy who either repairs them or removes the projectors.. so I went down for a look and brought back a set of RX 350 projectors and the holy grail ...triple LED LS 460 lights ...now if I could only figure out how to stuff that big LED high beam projector in my LX ..that would be pretty sweet... that big highbeam projector does not work on the US spec LS 460's .... it only works on European spec and I think Canadian Spec ..the US limits how many lumens can be projected..I got his info from a Lexus engineer at a ride and drive when we noticed the additional highbeam would not come on.
I'm gonna tear into these and see if I can figure out how they work..looking at the back there's not even a spot to replace the bulbs

I have to agree with you on the stance.... running spacers?

I thought you might like it since you said "mild build" on this one. :) however, is that really possible?

Had a full day on the cruiser... Started the day at Iron Pig OFFROAD... Installed SPC upper control arms, OME torsion bars adjusted and removed the tow hitch and stuffed the 295/70/18 under the truck.. yes it hangs down but this LX will spend 95% of it's time
on the pavement.. also shot a few pictures of the undercarriage...

Came home and got to work on the HID fog lights....
if you're going to order the kit from The Retro fit source.. make sure you order one extension wiring harness that connects to the ballast and another extension wiring harness for the OEM connector... you'll need the extra length to reach the other light and the OEM plug on the battery side.. The harness only needs to connect to one OEM plug which will connect the harness to the OEM harness. The OEM connection acts as the trigger...sending power to the relay harness which both lights connect too. You might want to order a 9006 connector that matches the wire harness connectors .. you'll swap out the OEM connector which will make wiring to the harness simplified
I had to preform a little surgery on the caps that access the light bulb ... I cut off the OEM connector which is part of the cap...cut a hole in the end and inserted the wiring harness that connects to the HID bulb.. the rubber grommet comes with the kit and I used a little marine sealant to keep things water tight...
My advice is to firgure out and install the wiring harness first...and test your setup before cutting the cap and installing the bulbs

All I can say is wow... I can't wait to do the headlights..
