I saw this on the new Icon site, pretty cool.

ICON4x4 • ICON FJ

It looks to be a 17" rim in the photo and not 18" which is what I would prefer, but still really cool that it still accepts OEM hubcaps and looks like a steelie rim. Another option for us out there that want to maintain the vintage looks but are seeing less and less tire options to fit our needs.

Most of their wheels are 18" but the one that shown with hubcap definitely has a 285/70x17 KO mounted.

Not much info in their site.

Icon ran 17" Mojaves before they started using 17" black rocks. Not sure on price, I have bought Icon stuff from them before and called their parts department for pricing.

Also, take a look at the Crimson Dean Cross Country wheels from Japan. They are alloy wheel but look like steel.

Available in:
16x6.5
16x7
16x8

Are the hubcaps integrated into the wheel on the crimson dean wheels? Pretty interesting. Any idea if they are available in the US? Would love to go to steelies/hubcaps on my truck but the limited availability of tires has always been a concern.

I like those Dean's,looks like the hub cap is attached with a bolt or 2

Looks like the hubcap is integrated, very nice!

I don't know what "integrated" means in terms of wheels and hubcaps but it looks to me like those hubcaps are held on my two phillips head screws through the hubcap.
Be better if the screw heads were black.

Edit: seeing Landpimp's post; the wheels sure are smooth looking. I kinda' like 'em too.

looks like they don't have the correct offset and backspace for a 40-60, made for 80 series+

other pic shows just the center portion of the cap removed.

I need tires so I've been looking at 16" wheel choices, preferring to keep the hubcaps if possible.

The 'Vintage' wheels are nice and can be had in 16" with 4" backspace that could work, but no hubcap clips. I thought why not just hold the caps on with a couple of screws through the wheel but then thought about the hassle it'd be trying to get long thin screws to line up with little holes sight unseen.

I'm kinda' thinking "Who needs hubcaps?" now and would much like to run 235/85x16 tires of about 31-32" diameter. We get snowed in up here (if it snows) and I sold both of my Dodge diesel 4x4 trucks so now the 40's gonna' have the ball if we need groceries (or cigs and whiskey).

I just called Icon with full intention of buying five of these until I found out they are $615 ea. plus72 bucks shipping ea. Was going to cost $3400.00 for five of them shipped to Ga. Talk about a kick in the stomach.

Damn...no wonder Icon's are $100,000... I think I remember a post about the manufacturer who makes those wheels for Icon, selling them for about $250 each...I'll see if I can dig it up.

Unobtainium

Found it. @thecrazygreek mentioned a brand called wheel smith that would make just about any wheel for ~$250... Never called them to follow up but could be an option. Better than $615...

I wonder if they are just not showing the correct wheel on their website since they clearly show the wheels on a 40 series? Those wheels look like they could be a great option.

I was going to guess closer to 1K each......just because :D

my guess is they are running a spacer on the 40

price looks to be $250, but I think the caps are extra

here is the cap off, not what I was expecting...but kinda neat.
