That color looks incredible. Can't wait to see how those tail lights look.

Much appreciated!

I love the taillights but the initial guards I purchased from Fat Fender Garage don't hit the mark for me. They're quality pieces, flawless in presentation, but maybe a little plain. Going to order a set of ICON guards and see which ones work best.

Fingers, toes, eyes crossed the transport company makes it in one piece over the Rockies. . .had to be December!!!

Clarity hard to capture with my phone camera. But the silver flakes in the paint are amazing. Depending on the light, it can look like a glossy silver metallic green or an almost greenish-grey frost. Paint color was the 2nd hardest decision. . .wheels officially captured 1st place!

So. . .went MIA for a while. Although I've been through cycles like this previously, each setback never ceases to surprise me.

We all know I may or may not have a few MH issues - don't we all from time to time - so just to clarify: I didn't do it, wasn't anywhere near him/her/it when X happened, and I'm not crazy b/c my mother had me tested=)

Past few months, been at the VA more times than I can count. Prior to the MVA (below), been dealing with some serious health issues. Knocked me for a loop initially but regrouped and stuck with my initial plan of attack - to live and enjoy what I have while I have it, period.

On top of the health FUBAR, totaled my truck 12 August. Unlicensed but insured driver ran a stop sign, I t-boned him, and the rest of that story will have to be told over a campfire. This MVA, despite wrecking my entire left side of my body, causing an exasperation of RAD, mild concussion, and some other fun/interesting/scary symptoms. . .likely saved my life on another front. CT scan caught a rapid growth of a previously stable right lung nodule. Follow-up scan next month, if I'm lucky - which the VA is 99% sure I'm REAL lucky - right upper lobectomy is curative. I'd call that winning the fcuking lottery. Have a few more scary months ahead of me but I favor challenges, personal or otherwise. And one fcuking fire at a time.

Now, moving on to the good stuff. . .

Is this a sound deadener spray on coating? if so what is the brand and how did you like it?

I used a combination of Second Skin (Spectrum) and Lizard Skin (Sound Control & Heat Protection) for sound/heat insulation, 3 products total. I made that choice based on prior experience and numerous builds utilizing the same products. Sprayed 3 coats per spec to every interior panel, under hood, upper/lower tailgate, firewall, and inner fenders; J's doing the underbody when it gets to his shop.

The difference? It's a massive. . .MASSIVE change in perceived harmonics, literally taking you from a tin can Yugo to a Lexus sound quality, or damn near it! The dynamat made a big difference - just put on way too early in my initial rebuild approach (lesson learned). Thankfully, I prepped the area (POR-15) before applying. Purely aesthetics - putting down a layer of Restomod Air's sound deadening after the paint booth. Adding Cascade Audio for roof sound/heat and their door gasket material as well.

Lizard Skin:

More body pics. Flow coating, wet sanding and correction in the roof:

I am matching my vents to my new grill color (cerakote grey). I am considering however paint matching the door handles. Might look good on yours

Yes indeed! Door handles and other exterior trim, hmm, maybe body colored, maybe accent colored (bronze). Grille & bumpers will b a last minute decision once everything else is buttoned up & put together. Think I’m going to get some 3D renderings ahead of time as a working pallet for the actual build.

Next up, steering wheel. . .Sparc Industries, Ring Brothers, Billet Specialties, Forever Sharp.

anodized bronze, black leather or carbon wrap, set on a Ididit column.
