I have tons of things I'd love to do, but I think it will be sliders, since now the sides are naked and I don't really wanna see what happens if I slide into or against something on the trail...

I should have more money to use to focus on building this truck up, so every 2 weeks I should be able to order and add something new.

I doubt the list will ever really end...

Yeah, I gave the truck a good run through the other day after I cleaned her up and removed the boards/flaps.

My steering wheel has been turned about 1/4 to the left for awhile when I'm driving straight. Is that something that can be adjusted when I have the truck brought in for an alignment?

In a word... Yes!
Easy to fix yourself too.

Fix myself, ehh? Do tell....

Specific instruction should best be left to those who own your version of a Cruiser.
But I'm sure it's just a matter of adjusting the length of some steering link that is now shorter due to your lift.

Wagon wrenchers chime in
Kevin?
Jackson?
Phil?

Check out page 14 of the 91-97 instructions.

Ahh, finally got the steering wheel aligned...much better.

Now to get the caster correction plates installed and schedule an alignment...

make sure you spacer out the sway bar or remove it when you put the plates on

What are the sway bar spacers made of......rubber? Aluminum?

Would the caster plates not fit right with the swaybar in the stock (unspaced) position?

I do plan on getting them, just trying to figure out which order I need to do thing sin...

Aftermarket ones are aluminum, but any 2" rigid material will do, i.e; 2" square tube with boxed ends.

I posted a new thread in the 80s section...

I've got a new rattle in the back somewhere...sounds like something is loose or not connected...but I double checked and all the bolts are tight....

Did anyone else develop a rattle or clang in the back when going over rough roads after a J swap?

get a torque bolt list and check everything again - it is easy to miss something - check all the pan hard rods and control arm bolts - upper shock bolts - basically touch everything- bump stops?
