Finally installed my Copper State Cruisers Trasharoo after only 10 years!

Showed it off at the 34th annual East Coast at the Great Smoky Mountain Trail Ride (GSMTR) last week. Had a blast, just added a rear bumper and front/rear Harrop/Eaton lockers. Man, what a difference triple locked makes!

The kids are all grown up now but they still like hanging out with me on the trail. Best Father's Day weekend ever. We were up to our bumpers in mud for 3x days. I sure miss you guys and all that wide open hard pack dirt. Maybe I'll get out there one day and do a ROTM with you all.

Heading back into the Mud now. Take care and God bless!

I thought this was tech.

Heck yeah, there's straps involved and adjusting of said straps...pretty techy. ;)

How many batteries do these Trashomatics take to operate?

Enjoy the straps while they last. My Trasharoo has been out in the deseet for a grand total of maybe 30 days over 5 years, and the straps look like doll hair - all stringy and loose - enough to make me wonder if this is the day that it falls off the truck and I lose it. It's not like I load it up heavily (*much), as it carries firewood out and a 5 gallon bucket full of trash back.

The rest of the construction is solid and I think the bag itself, along with pockets, etc. would last a good long time, but the straps and buckles seem to dry rot in record time.

I considered taking it down to Wilderness Products who makes the best tactical belts and paying them to use belt strapping and buckles to fit my aging Trasharoo; that won't be cheaper than $100, but I really like my CSC embroidered Trasharoo!

They run on a 120 volt system which requires a very long extension cord from your residence!

Like @LongDuck says, the straps are the weakest link.

The group out here does way more wheeling than camping so I think I'll use it for dirty recovery gear given the amount of recovery work we did at GSMTR.
