Need a used 285/75/16

Killed one of my Cooper STT's yesterday and need to find a decent spare. Hoping one of you locally will have the size I need.

That tire is totally salvagable. Right after I purchased my used set of 35" KM2s, I punctured one with a 3" long by 1" diameter rock. My local tire shop double patched it for me and I ran it for a year with no problems before selling the set. If you can't find a shop willing to patch it, then get it to me and I will have my local shop get it done. Here's a pic of the patch done on mine:

Yeah I went to a shop who told me they couldn't plug it but could probably patch it. I didn't think a patch was good enough but if you guys have different experiences then I will give it a try but will make sure they do a double patch.
And yes 35's are in the future but I just got the lift. I need to get through the Summer and a new radiator first.

I would just patch it man, and then maybe run it as your spare if you have 4 others...

That tire I patched has been wheeled alot this last year and it held up great. That picture is recently when I took the tires off to sell. The patch was good as new.
