Need a new Radiator

Padiator started leaking, so I pulled it and took it to the fix it guy. Top cap is leaking and he says he can't get a new one. If i'm going to pay $500 for a new radiator, may as well get input from y'all.

Where can I get a good after market radiator? Just a daily driver, we don't do much more that drive to the mud caves these days.

Someone was working on putting out a new aftermarket larger aluminum radiator for our rigs. Not sure if it ever came to be. I'll see if I can find the thread.
 
Ours has a Koyo, and it's been fine. I have heard good things about CSF, as well. Yeah, I also recently read on here about the larger that fits the stock location, that sounds like a cool option (not a pun).

Just replaced my CSF with a Koyo and saw 15 degree temp drop. My csf wasn't that old, I had a hard time spending the money but it was 100% worth it.

damn, I replaced my oem with CSF last fall.

I'm noticing that I'm running hotter this summer...
 
Koyo is the budget radiator of choice. I got mine in an urgent situation and ended up with an aftermarket all brass for ~$300. Five years later, in one of the hottest cities in the country and I have no complaints.
 
Radiator: heat transfer points

Getting ready to replace my radiator - top part sphitzing a little. From what I've read thus far, it's not so much whether it's a 3 or 4 row or brass or aluminum - a radiators effectiveness seems to be the result of more heat transfer points inside the radiator.

Thinking I am going to go back to a stock radiator because after all hoses changed over the years, 1,200 miles into my new head now on red coolant I hit 222 going up the grade on an average 70 deg day. I thought my drastic temp ranges 177-222 were from my cracked head but now everything has been ruled out except the radiator.
 
I bought a stock TOYOTA Radiator from CDan for $385 US plus freight. Drops right in, no fitment issues at all. Works great! 6 months ago. Byt the time you get done with all the researching and asking for aftermarket...Why? Go OEM, it's the same price.
