Something will stick, just give it time. Do you know if the PO had a name for it already?

In the past I scoffed at names for vehicles. And I still do. But they do serve a purpose sometimes. Mainly so when you have multiples of the same model, people know which rig you are gonna show up in or which one to put the gear into as you are leaving to go somewhere. I have "red '40" and "tan '40" and "green '40". All three of the FZJ80s on hand right now are green, so they are Primary, Secondary and Tertiary. Putting together a couple of older Chevy 1 ton crew cabs this winter. Both are the same year and same color and identical optioning (ex North slope fleet rigs). They will probably be "Truck 1" and "Truck 2".

I was looking for a name because I was going to start a build thread. If we are wanting to drive it it’s just “hey want to take the fj/ cruiser”

I feel like we’ve been waiting a minute for you to name a 55. Just sayin

Man. Damn... I see what you are doing Bruce. Ain't gonna work. Nope. Imma leaving that box closed. Just don't wanna be letting no more of that out. ;)

Oddly enough I never did name THE '55 that started it all. If any rig deserved a name it was that one. It literally inspired stories! Fevered delusional ones perhaps, but stories nonetheless.

Now that I think about it, I will admit that I did name the old red '40. The one on the Rockwells and 52 inch Michelins that was the aborted cousin of Tippy The Behemouth.

Tiny. Tiny The Pull Toy. The Tiny part is obvious. The Pulltoy part too I guess, cause it was never gonna get to the trail without riding the trailer.

Where did Tippy wind up BTW? I still remember the look on Peters face when his wife decreed that "The Behemouth" would wear that qualifier in it's title. I Remember that almost as well as I remember how calmly she was hanging from the seat belt sideways, looking down at Peter after he laid the rig over in the muddy ruts out at Ruby Lake. She stayed there belted in the whole time as we got them back over onto all four tires.

It’s all folklore at this point but I always imagine Mark wearing chain mail whist piloting a pig even though I’ve never actually witnessed it.

Peter @Behemoth60 on his side, upside down or building something with comically large tires is still greatly entertaining but has lost most of it’s shock value due to the commonality of the occurrence. Tanis, in the quarter century I’ve known her is always unfazed.

The First Knight would approve. You know, fevered delusions and all that. ;)

Chainmail floats, right? Didn't they use it like life jackets back in the day? 🤔
