Hey guys, I made a post a couple months back. Since then I have been busy with college and haven't had much time to work on it. I got it started this past weekend, after seven years of just sitting. Here are some pics of it. Any ideas where I should start. I have been thinking of changing the rear drums? Any advice?

You will only be able to run soft doors with that old deluxe kayline top that have a straight edge to the rear of the door... The top came in two versions ... One for soft doors and one for hard doors...

If hard doors are used there is a gap where an oem hard door slopes inward

Do you have the soft doors?

The original deluxe had doors that snapped in on the windshield frame and front if the cowl

Nice looking mustard yellow cruiser BTW:)

agreed, as nice as the paint is, there are little things that would irk me all day long if it was mine

... and start referring it as a 40 (or FJ40), it's not a FJ.
