i discover the reason why the door never fit right since the gozzard tub installation 16 yrs ago , the tub is bended in the center , possibly because it dry like this after unmolding, solution was to cutting the rear poly mounts and pull down the rear sill , now the body lift is 1/2" all around (i always think it was stange the body lift was higher in the rear) now the doors fit alot better

Down south in Victoria, Morington Peninsula. Just enjoying 35 Deg. C Mate of mine born in Yellow Knife. Just googled Scott looks pretty open & lots of green near the river, like the Town Cafe:) Hope you make it here some day plenty of roads to take you to lots of places. Tasmania should be one place on your list. Cheers

my old window felt are dry and cracked and i'm on a tight on budget , solution was to use some old 95 4runner back glass bottom lip i got laying around , they use plastic square clip the same size of the metal one one my 42 , i chose to use the metal clip on the 4runner trim , this trim is bigger than the 40 serie one and cover the door and window better than factory, a little bit of triming and it fit perfect and cost nothing :hillbilly:

time for an update , not much time lately

i've cure the spare tire rattle in cuban style :smokin: and it cost me nothing but time
i've use an old tube from a soft top to make a sleeve , the tube was a little loose on the pin and a little too big to fit in the carrier , i saw an openning on the side of the tube and it fit perfect , with that i cut two slice of teflon

i had to cut the factory weld to remove the pin , i chose to not weld it back and now use bolts to keep it tight on the pin
also cut some thin rubber to go between tub and carrier

back seat need some modification to fit in the gozzard tub because the wheel well is 1"taller than stock and its double wall , plus the inner wall is angle
i chose to install just one on the right side , its rusty and the vinyl is a little dry , also need to fab new rear legs because they look like swiss cheese
a good clean and some rattle can on the weld , let say its temporary
