My butt polishes it - no other care. I don't think their dyeing process is going to give the artisans at Rolls Royce any worry about competition. For the price, I can't complain.
@gatormark91 , always great to read your replies.. Make me snicker each and every time.

He's right, of course, they're not "OEM" quality but they're pretty close. MIne's a daily driver, and while there's the usual fold/wrinkle lines it's held up pretty well (Bisque color). May I ask if the Poster of the question above steamed/replaced the seat foam? At Gatormark's suggestion, I glued in some high density Auto Foam cut to the original dimensions and glued them onto the original foam to "fill in" the bolsters. All that to say, that perhaps the wear is coming from inaqeduately-reconditioned foam before the leather cover was put on?

About 2 yrs now on the LSeat leather and I, too have no complaints given the quality and price. That said, maybe your particular run (OP) had an issue that LSeat can replace with a call or Email? In my case, the kit was missing the arm bolsters and after an Email to the Support staff, I had a new set of bolsters in just a few days.

Is L-seat still making the center console leather that is way too big for the 100 series? Read about a couple people having fitment issues. I want to replace mine but dont want to risk being stuck with something that doesnt fit.

Digging the color, like it. Close to the darker trim on dash and doors.
Yeah it's a smidge darker and IMHO better looking than original. Not as supple/soft, but sorta rustic so that it's more in character with the tough and rugged nature of a LC. The pronounced grain may contribute to that.

This cruiser is about to go to college with my daughter, so I'm looking for a Galactic Gray Mica over gray LC100 to replace it. Will def use Lseat again and this time do front and back, even if the back doesn't need it.

No, they got it right after it was reported. Fit was perfect on my now sold 470.
Great news. I reached out to them and its only $15 for that piece in case anyone else was wondering (not listed on their site).

Lseat covers for the 100 are genuine leather... real leather doesn't peel. Peeling is an issue with pleather; the vinyl outer material (so-called leather) flakes and separates from the underlying fabric substrate. Basically, 99% of car seats these days are actually fake leather, including the original Hundy seats.

FWIW my two sets of Lseat leather, which each have ~5 years of exposure to Texas heat, have not had any structural issues. However, some color has worn out in the usual high wear spots from vehicle entry and exit.

What’s the story behind the seat damage? Looks awful- and from the staining on the seat back maybe it got wet.

I replaced our front seats, arm rests and center console last summer on our 1999 100 and they still look brand new. The included console leather did fit fine, so I’m assuming that going forward their kits include the correct size. I’m close to ordering another set for our 1998, and I’m not hesitating to go with Lseats again.

Thanks man, I ordered one on 3/4 from them. It wasnt on their site but after a couple emails they sent me an invoice for it. $15 well spent in my opinion. Havent heard from then yet but I'll let them do their thing.

Yes this is what happen to my seats after about a year or two
Thanks, I guess I’ll be looking at other options. That’s unacceptable. I know the price is reasonably cheap but installation cost is still quite high. I would be very upset if I had all three rows fitted with new leather only for that to happen after a couple years.

Lseat just confirmed in an email that the side and back panels are vinyl. I guess that is the reason why @prerunner84 has seen issues with his leather/vinyl seats.

@prerunner84 Not sure when you purchased your set but Lseat has a 2yr/24k miles warranty. Reach out to them and see if they'll replace it for you.

Lseat doesn't include back panels with their kit. The original seat backs, which are factory vinyl-covered plastic, are reused for the upholstery job.
