I had ordered the two tone seats and they sent me the single tan seats which are of less value than what I had placed an order for. I contacted them and got a return shipping label (he wanted me to pay return shipping at first but I told him that wasn't happening) and shipped them off in box. I printed out all my forms and the emails and placed them in the box for clarification that I was returning them and wanted the two-tone seats. I haven't heard from him since May. The name on the return label was to Ping Yang in Austin, Texas. No returned emails or calls. About to take legal action.
update?

They look like pigskin to me. If true, I am not game - will stretch soon.

Eventually got a response after I threatened him with small claims court. I just wanted the two tone seats, but he went ahead and refunded me before giving me options of getting the actual seat covers I ordered or a refund. Me thinks he didn't have them. Which makes me wonder where his product comes from, if it is actually made to order or a bulk stock. I wouldn't do business with him. Seats were decent quality, but such a hassle and unprofessional. No customer service at all.

It did look like pig leather

@troutbum - sorry to read about your experience.

I've had a set of them on my 2000 LX (that sits in the Florida sun 365) for well over a year. Bought a set of two-toned & self installed.

While their customer service definitely sucks, I would probably buy from them again given the price differential. The leather is not up to the same standard as the OEM Lexus, but the fit to the seat structure/foam was great. Not being an experienced upholstery buyer, not sure if typical, but my worst surprise was finding out I had to cut the holes for the armrests and seat controls.

Don't know that I could recognize the difference between leather and pigskin once made into a car seat, but there has been no stretching or discoloration.

Here are mine. Color me verklempt/happy.

@gatormark91 , see? Thoughts on the materials? This isn't the first time I'd heard that this dude used pig skin.

I do not believe it is pig leather, it feels like regular leather to me, but I am no expert. He just about swore it's from Columbian cattle. It just has a deeper grain than the original stuff. I got a sample from him before I purchased, and it seemed just as I described before. I don't know why he would use pig leather and say it was cow, as that would pretty much destroy his business for these covers. The money difference for the raw skins in Columbia would be negligible, and they need to be treated the same to get to the finished product.

It actually looks more like the full-grain leather (the optional 3-row real leather, not Softex) in my wife's 2016 T4R than the shiny smooth stuff in our Cruisers, which might be the source of the confusion. However, in the interest of putting the pig skin thing to rest, I will run the covers by a professional upholstery shop before I put them on and get their opinion.

I will say the promised 3-5 week turnaround time is BS, and you have to call him to get any update, he doesn't really do tech too well (email, posts here go unanswered or take some time to get answered). Phone calls get him right away, though. I called Frank a couple times and got him immediately answering the phone personally each time. It might take 3-5 weeks for them to be produced, but the shipping is the delay, the covers were held up in customs. Apparently, US Customs like to look at agricultural products shipped from Columbia for SOME reason. :) My box had actually been opened enough to peek inside, and re-sealed.

Not ideal customer service, and not sure I would recommend the purchase because of that (unless he updated the delivery info on his page), but everything he said turned out to be truthful so far.

I'm about to take legal action against LSeat too. Be very careful. I wouldn't do business with them if I were you. They never answer the telephone, and they rarely return emails. They were on Amazon and Ebay, but both of those accounts have been canceled. So, your buyer protection is very questionable.
I saw them on Amazon about 9 months ago. They promised my seats in 3 weeks. They told me that they needed my rear seat cover for a model, since they only had a model for my front Jeep seats. They said they would give me a 50% discount for the rear. I thought, "Great". So, I removed my rear seat cover and sent it to them. That was 9 months ago, and I have yet to receive my seats.

I had ordered custom work from Amazon in the past and it was no problem. The seller set up my custom computer order on Amazon and I paid for it, and it was no problem. If there is a problem on Ebay or Amazon you have great buyer protection.

After constant emails for six months to LSeats, and making them wrong, they finally "satisfactorily" finished my seats. I had asked for a logo on the front seats, and they didn't put the logo after 4 months of waiting for them to make the seats as I had ordered them. I had sent them detailed pictures when I ordered them. It took another two months for them to put on the logo. Now, they want me to bypass Amazon, and send them over $600.00, without any buyer protection. With their horrible customer service and waiting six months, I need some sort of buyer protection. How do I know that they didn't just remove the stitching and sew on the logo, and then restitch the seats together, and there will old stitching holes in my seats? Am I suppose to just trust them for a refund after I send them a Cashier's Check?

I asked them to just send my old rear seat back to me, after I had to remove the seat cover in my living room, and now for 9 months, I've had to live with a rear seat in my living room. They won't even answer my inquiry to return my old seats, they just say send check or money order.

If you want to see their horrible customer service, try calling them. They never answer the telephone. They rarely return your emails once they have your order. I sent them detailed seat pictures for custom stitching and they didn't do it the way I requested, and they still want to charge me for the pipe stitching. I say fine, but I don't want to send them over $600.00 without Amazon or Ebay Protection, and both of those accounts have been canceled for some reason. I wouldn't do business with these people if I were you.

I'll throw my hat in as well. My situation isn't as bad as @ChasUGC but similar.

Dec 16th 2017 I placed an order for front and rear seats from lseat.com through the website. I asked them about recovering my transmission shifter, 4wd shifter, door arm rest and console lid. Only communicating through email they were quick to accept the additions and have me send it to an address in Houston, TX. I boxed up my items and sent them to the address provided. I sent a tracking number and and confirmed they had received my interior items through email the same day they arrived.

Approx. 3 weeks later I received notification that I would receive my shipment from lseat on Jan 5th. I did receive my seat covers but my interior items were missing. I sent emails for a month with only receiving one sentence responses that were vague and didn't make sense. Response email were only received about every 3rd email I sent. I just sent quick messages and remained polite and ended every email with a "Thank You."

It has now been 2 months since i received part of my order . I sent emails for a month and then finally felt like i was getting screwed. I contacted Discover and explained it to them and they opened a case for a dispute. They opened an investigation and asked me to send them copies for our email exchanges. About a week later the ruled in my favor and reversed half the charges since I had received some of my order. I felt this was fair. The money refunded could purchase the parts they are holding.

Thanks to some awesome mud members helping the replaced some of the items. I received shifters and arm rest at a more than fair price shipped. Im still looking for a console lid if anybody has one.

As stated above , if you want to see their horrible customer service, try calling them. They never answer the telephone. They rarely return your emails once they have your order. Its a-shame, his prices are fair but its hit or miss on what you get. I wouldn't do business with them again.

@ChasUGC have you tried contacting your credit card. Hit lseat where it hurts and have them reverse the funds.

Quick question about heated seats. Is the “heater” adhered to the underside of the cover or is it adhered to the seat cushion?

The pics you posted look great. I am hesitant to pull the trigger on replacements. I ordered the Cordova fabric (extreme heavy duty) covers from Shear Comfort but the fitment pictures on the website were nowhere near what arrived. They were non returnable and the fitment was horrible. Functionally they are great for protecting the leather but aesthetically they’re terrible.

They are being very smart about it. They are only asking for Check or money order, no credit card. If there was a credit card option I might consider it. But, they seem to want to try to put me in a position where I could completely lose my money and that is not going to happen with over $600.00. I sent them my rear seat covers and they said that I would pay them when they sent the pictures. But, after waiting six months for them to send the proper pictures, their horrible customer service, and the fact that they are trying to bypass any purchase protection, I AM NOT going to send them over $600.00 of my money. I just want my rear seat covers back, until I find find another reasonable seat replacement.
I saw another guy with similar problems with them, and talked to a lawyer and took some sort of legal action to get them to cooperate. After nine months, this is an absolute nightmare.

You can make cc payments through their website. I wonder if you could go that route.

So sounds like the latest issues are with people ordering new items he doesnt have patterns for.

I'm thinking it is still safe and worth the gamble to order a set of $300 front seats vs the next best option of $800 I think. I want the center armrest but will get seats first by ordering through the website (with a CC) and if that goes well go for the armrest separate.

Who has received a set of 100 series seats most recently and what was the experience?

Yeah, nevermind the credit card option, I cut mine up a long, long time ago. I only use visa debit and I save my money.
I don't believe debit is an option. I'll have to contact a lawyer or the better business bureau. Luckily, I didn't pay them during those six months or I would have been spitting fire. Only bad part is that they have absolutely ruined my Jeep until I can find other decent seat covers. I'm not paying over $6000.00 for seat covers. I won't even risk throwing away $600.00 dollars. I have to be practical.

Glad I found this thread. I almost went with ''dark beige'' but glad I found that Bisque is the correct color.

I've noticed a few people say they had a shop install them. Are they really that hard? I've ready from other people that you just need a warm day and some patience.

Very troubling reports. If these guys were serious and found they were getting slammed in a forum like this, they'd be defending, explaining, reaching out or something. Folks need some details. Just saying.
