JAD thats very cool about the logo

REO Mexico was the importer of the Toyota Land Cruisers as CKD's (Knock-down kit - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

They contracted with Toyota 08/28/1960 and kits were being sent in december of that year. Sales started in september of 1961.

Very cool badge indeed...i wonder how many were made and sold there? it was only for a few short years

interestingly its the way Toyota Brazil started out...getting CKD's from Toyota

Front seats

Very very cool that it stayed in the same family all these years!!

Rig looks to be in great shape, and luckily, the few things that are not original on this '62, such as the seat covers (should be coral) hubcaps (should be Moon T), running board mats (should be white) bib light lenses (should be clear and not amber)...these things can easily be corrected a little at a time :)

Hope I don't come off as a jerk, as that is not my intentions, but reproductions of these original parts are available, and they would put this old '62 over the top!!!

Yes you have rigth

Yes, that picture in the SOR catalog is accurate; early trucks had that style signal lamp assembly.

Someone will come along and post up a picture of them for you.

More photos please.
