LOL. Nice trip report!

Who was driving the yellow LJ? Was it a rubi? Sounds like lady Wicklund's rig. As a reformed Jeeper, I apologize for blue Rubi's moronical behavior.

Well now you finally got to see what Beasley is like. Now imagine all of that in a stock height extended cab long bed F-250 on 33" street tires.

it would definitely not have made it up the trails we went up. especially if it was open/open.

im not sure who was in the LJ Rubicon. there was also an old white grand cherokee, silver 4 door rubi on 35s, ugly green 4 door rubi on 35s (had a big star on the hood and door) , red TJ on 37s, the H3T on 35s, old chevy rock crawler, and a bunch of smaller jeeps... pics would probably have helped, but alas, i have none.
And thanks for the apology lol.

Today was ACC Toyota's Fifth Anniversary party. Met a lot of cool katz, had a great time, saw a TON of awesome truck, and i got sunburned...

Coolest cake ever.

Brian (ACC co-owner) BADASS 80. (looks a little like that cake :hhmm:)

My favorite FJ Cruiser in the world.

As you can see, it is VERY well loved :p

Peter's Taco. SWEET!

If you know or have seen Peter, You'd know why this magnetic mustache is perfect.

Expedition tacoma. Pretty cool.

Dan's GX. Most built GX 470 ive ever seen.

One of the few Jeeps i would love to own..

Badass 40

TWO BJ70s in a single photo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BJ40 hiding in the corner.

LOOK AT ALL OF NICKS LEDs. BUY THEM NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

MINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rough picture of a beautiful FJ45LV.

Beautiful picture of a rough FJ45LV.

Sweet little truck. I love the custom exhaust!

Big engine in a little 40.

My little brother went fishing up north today and in Alpharetta, this pulled into the station while he was getting gas....

Im jealous as HELL! Thats probably the ONLY factory diesel 60 series in GA.

He wasnt able to talk to the guy because he didnt stop moving, but im guessing is was a HJ61? Correct me if im wrong though, i cant really tell the difference between HJ or BJ.

My Dad thought it'd be funny to joke around and say It had a "For Sale" sign on the other side for $5000... I almost punched him in the face lol.

Then on the way home, i saw this beast...

Earth Roamers are SOOOOOOOOOO BIG!! Look at that tire!!!

There were a lot of other awesome rigs at ACC today but i was mingling and didnt have a chance to get shots of them.

The TEQ/Toyota mud flaps on the white expo Tacoma are sweet!

Don't punch your dad in face.

What is the purpose of all those different rings of bolts on that ford rim.

I'd also agree to HJ-61. PTO winch.

Bunch of good looking rigs.

Thanks Cody Sent from my iPhone using IH8MUD

didnt some bjs come with the pto winch aswell? it has the diesel badge on the front grill as apposed to the turbo badge that the ones fitted with a 12ht unless the grill has been changed so it could still be both.. but if it is a hj it would be a 2h

I saw this contraption on the trails at GSMTR...:flipoff2:

So, how did the locker do???

Very well. Asher proved that i didnt really need it in spots (he's open/open), but it was definitely nice to have. Wish more of you Louisiana guys could have made it out, maybe we can get together sometime this summer?

And ill try and put more pics up, my phone was out of battery 80% of the trip so im sort of relying on Facebook for people posting pics of my truck and others. I have got a lot of miscellaneous pics to put up in the next day or so.

I saw this contraption on the trails at GSMTR...:flipoff2:

yeah it only took me 15 mins to get up that stupid ledge

GSMTR PICTURES:

Our convoy at Kroger:
-2000UZJ (silver 100)
-mhslacrosse22 (white FJ)
-KingKong (dark 80)
-Sam Stewart (tan mini, silver tundra)

Pesky little fxxxs we found at our "first" campsite.

I found 5 tiny baby ticks on my socks pretty much immediately getting out of the truck.

Talking about guns and s*** at our "final" campsite. And looky there, griffin showed up with his badass free 40.

While signing up to get our Windrock OHV passes, this decently sized skink was basking in the sun on the deck.

First trail we went on (22). This was my view for 4 hrs. Not too bad in my opinion. (kennyao30 in his silver 100)

Will traversing a steep ledge (doesnt look steep, but it really was haha)

Crazy steep hillclimb... even if i had a purpose built buggy, theres no way i would even try this thing. "The Gecko" (check the may/june 2013 issue of Toyota Trails for this badass truck) up at the top is at about a 70-80 degree ledge. One mistake and theyre all coming back down...

This guy in the pink truck ive been told is either crazy or brave haha. He flopped on his side and just gunned it and managed to right himself and carry on his merry way and complete the course. Im thinking hes crazy hahaha.

It sure isnt Colorado, but for the south, those are some very pretty views.

Group shot of the group on the first day.
-Charles, Nick, Will, Kenny, Me, Asher. All great guys :)

LDowney's awesome BJ70. Ive taken have many shots of it in the last couple pages of this thread.

Our camp mascot, Will's 10 week old Blue Heeler (Australian cattle dog), Wyatt. SOOOO CUTE!!! He's the smartest puppy i've ever seen.

IPOR guys show up with two 80 buggies. The caged 80 buggy up front and the FZJ40 in back. Both EXTREMELY badass creations.

Our second day's convoy. Up to see the windmills...
Closest to furthest. Asher, Will, Kenny, Matt (Jynx), Steve (yeti in GA).

I had never seen a wind turbine thing in person, so i was AMAZED to see anything this impossibly giant actually move... Incredible.

Another trail we took the second day, cant remember which, but it was beautiful.

This picture doesnt really look very pretty, but with the noise of the water and the rock formations, IT WAS!!!!!!

My attempt at night wheeling. I was driving by Nicks tail lights... my headlights are a joke

GORGEOUS old 40. This guy actually learned to sew so he could make his own soft top, originals are mucho mucho dinero. His soft top looks great atop such a well restored truck, and can you believe he actually wheeled it! We ran into him on the trails. Its fantastic!!!!

Really great group of people on a 100 series run (trail 42). In some places I was extremely happy to be the one riding..
left to right. Chase, Charles (also has that sweet green 100), Nick, ME!!!!!!

Stopped to get some shots and let the kids throw rocks in the river.

I was walking the trail at 17 O'clock haha and almost stepped in one of Wyatt's dog craps, but before i could yell at Will for letting his pup take a dump exactly where i wanted to stand, i saw the turd B line straight for the nearest vegetation... upon futher inspection, I realized it was the biggest fxxxing millepede i have ever seen in my life. I thought bugs only grew this prehistorically enormous in cool places like Australia or Africa.

I cleaned the dirt off his face(?) and put him in safe damp spot out of the way of any vehicles or human feet. I did a little research and found out you can buy these things as pets :hhmm:

Chuggin along back in GA. A friend (in a GX) of the guys at ACC spotted us coming back from Windrock and they sent us our highway wheeling pics :)
This is the best view ive seen from the rear of my truck while moving, and if i say so myself, it looks rather good :p

This trip to Windrock for GSMTR has been one of the greatest experiences wheeling and hanging out with friends ive had in a very long time if not ever. If you haven't been or are planning on making a trip out to Windrock, DO IT, I guarantee you will not regret it. I thank anyone who had a role in making GSMTR happen and cant wait for next year

nice pics, ive been wondering where you went, you disappeared for a while! oh and I think I got some pics of a similar bumper, ill post em in my thread so as not to clutter yours.

turbines are meh, I lived right next to the Altamont Pass for years (one of the bigger wind farms in the US), eventually you just tune them out.

And ive been around, trolling in s*** chat. i dont really post in here all that much since ive only got like 3.5 people that actually read my junk anymore lolol. When big trips/upgrades happen though, i update the old thread haha. Thanks for the words :)

For you, ill update everyday :flipoff2:
And im not gonna lie, i love the "black rifle" thread, I'm working on picking up an HK MR556 after my bday next month, but only if the stars align in my favor lol. Thasnk for reading, bud.

im gonna post on this when you get lazy and don't entertain me haha

no problem i like reading threads with the "budget builds" (broke college students)

eh im selling my AR10 i don't shoot it and its too expensive to own and shoot. im lookin for a car with the money after i sell the rifle, get my fed tax refund and security deposit back so i might be able to get a nice-ish car that's better on the wallet than the truck.

yeah, just annoy me a little if i slack off and ill update. and if i lived in cali, id probably sell off all our guns. Cali laws suck ass.

Broke home owners with kids isn't much better . . . trust me.

Keep in mind the extra insurance cost and loan payment if you get one. People were amazed I could afford to drive my gas-guzzling truck (aka 9mpg with the 305, 400 in it now gets 11:D) when gas prices topped $4 a gallon and I was having to make occasional fixes to it. An older, paid off vehicle with cheap insurance goes a long way toward being cheap when compared to the cost of a loan, the ridiculous cost of insuring a newer vehicle, and the cheaper gas bill.

At one point in life (man this makes me feel old) I was a broke college student with two trucks (78 K-10, 86-K5) and let myself be persuaded to buy a newer truck that got better gas mileage and wasn't breaking down all the time (03 Ranger). I don't have any of them anymore and wish I had the older two back.

Fxxx, what do I know? I'm back up to 4 vehicles again (would be 5 if my TJ hadn't gotten totaled a couple weeks ago ). Just whatever you do, don't get rid of Bessie!!
