Ewwwwww naysty.

He's right, those win.

Thats a competition I'm glad i lost.

Went on another little man-date with Mr. 2000UZJ today. We got to talking about racks and brakes and coil overs and springing over the 62.

Nick even let me drive his hundy and DAMN!! I do love that 2UZ under the hood... even though he wasnt quite as enthralled with my 3FE. Engine swap time me thinks.

And i also dropped my phone and cracked the screen, so that sucks

Jealous. Of the man date. Not the phone dropping thing.

The man date was incredible Ankur, you should of came...wait...joined! It's not that I wasn't blown away by the power of the 3FE, I'm just not used to 14" of brake pedal travel before it begins to slow.

Good luck watching porn on your iPhone, if your in to BBW, they will have more cracks :hillbilly: .

Cool. I heard that there was some guys from around Atlanta coming and though it might ah been ya.

Thanks Cody Sent from my iPhone using IH8MUD

I wasnt planning on going to the Mardi Krawl.
There are a few trips that are closer to me that im going on:

Beasley Knob - 3/16
Choccolocco - 3/23
Durhamtown - 4/19-21
YAAAAAY GSMTR!!!!!! - 5/16-19

Dude - you're not getting to GSMTR until I'm gone already. :-(

Finally got to test the aussie yesterday at the "Beasley Cleanup" with the GA Bounty Runners. when i drove into the sea of jeeps at camp, all heads turned and i read on all their lips, "Damn, i shouldve gotten a land cruiser." hahaha

The trails at beasley aren't as technical as most places, but they are very very steep (carved into the side of the north Georgia mountains), very soft slippery dirt, and really tight (trees and roots protruding from both sides just itching to break windows, smash in fenders, and slap you in the face while driving by).
In the tougher trails, large boulders protrude out of the ground, so if you're just trying to keep up momentum for the climbs and not paying attention to keeping to your line, you will have some nice dents to show your friends when you get back to camp.

OK so pictures of the adventure:

After splitting up into smaller groups of 3 or 4 trucks, we made it to beginning of the three trails that we were responsible for trimming, cleaning, and clearing.

My group, consisting of a guy in a stock blue rubicon and a couple nice fellows in a RZR (shared their lunch with my brother and me).

Seeing as how i had never been to Beasley before, i let the rubicon guy lead

Waiting for my turn up the trickiest trail i got to drive yesterday.

I begin my ascent...

Sexy close up.

But by now, even with a locked rear, i was just digging myself in deeper.

****, i cant crawl up it.

Had to back down the trail so that i could start over to get the momentum i was robbed of a few minutes earlier.

BUT I MADE IT :)

We did get to make some sawdust a couple times. so it wasnt all just playing in the woods haha

Almost to the very top of the mountain, but that was the scariest trail i saw haha. 40"+ tires seemed to be a necessity and a 70 degree drop of all the way back down the mountain.

Nice scenic picture. Brasstown Bald, the highest point in Ga (4,784ft) is the peak with an observation tower on top. (Middle of the photo, i think?)

It was good day.

4,000 feet is the highest yall got?! jeez i live at 6,000 feet haha

Nice P, Love the EVER FALLING TREES in East Texas.. I keep a chainsaw in the truck for that reason. It sucks firing it up at 430 in the morning to get to work, BUT its the adventure RIGHT!

J

yeah it would've been better if the jeep guy shared the fun tools! but it was cool cleaning up for the season to start in April. I was surprised at how so few trees fell over the last few months Beasley's been closed. And what are you doing out there at 4:30 in the morning? Doing some squatchin'

I cant lie, there were some pretty snazzy trucks there. Like this awesome yellow LJ and also an H3T, which i didnt really like since they're ugly as hell, but it was giving me some good ideas for my H3 if i keep it.
Most of the people were really nice and they made us outsiders feel welcome, but some of them were just unbearable.

Well now you finally got to see what Beasley is like. Now imagine all of that in a stock height extended cab long bed F-250 on 33" street tires.
