Install mine yesterday .. got few comments .. ( IMHO comments )

1. As I'm slow worker it took me around 3 hours the complete installation.

2. Sawzal didn't work for me .. actually was a complete mess ( driver side ) and it maybe take me more time to fix it with my grinder .. so IMHO grinder ..

3. Dremel .. have one handy ..

4. DRL bolts on the bracket needs bit of modification ( are bit out ) 5 minutes with Dremel with solve that.

5. As I'm kinda purist .. had to buy 12mm or 14mm nuts and will do the same for bolts .. I like to keep everything metrical in my Cruisers ..

6. You have to cut all bend lib on your ARB I din't and was huge pita later to fit all nuts .. will take off my bracket to fix that later on .. ( again IMHO not an optional step ).

The result

Looks great! Yup, also had to cut all the lips off. Took longer than expected, as I was being cautious to preserve the mounting holes. But the results are definitely worth it.

Looks Great!
I'm in...can't wait to get them!

what did you use to cut lips .. ?

Dewalt jigsaw. Taped up the bumper good to prevent scratching it. I adjusted the blade to a sharp angle.

I finished installing my brackets and they are perfect !!!!

Today I will work on installing the DRLs, which I noticed something I don't like. The wiring harness that comes with the lights actually plugs close to the controller box, and not close to the actual light.

My issue with that is that if I ever wanted to remove the bumper or the DRL itself then I would have to undo all the routing of the wiring harness, which could be a PITA.

I am thinking I will cut the connector and splice it closer to the DRLs.

I am also looking for a good location for the controller box. Can anyone share where you installed yours ?

Thanks !

Mine it's in front of my Air filter box .. actually between it and my pass side battery tray box .. I notice that about the harness too .. just decide not to make a big deal about that ..
