Hi all,

my 1996 has daytime running light from factory and I want to replace the DRL relay with the short connector used in (some) vehicles without DRL - see wiring diagram below.
The DRL relay / short connector is a 14 pin connector on the instrument panel/cowl wiring (driver side).
My question is if anybody has the the part number or pictures/information for this short connector?

Not sure if this part is also installed in USDM 80 series... probably exlusive for LHD Europe as it says in the diagram.

Answering my own question here for the rare event somebody is looking for that information 🤣
Found a matching connector a while ago to deactivate DRL and have normal light function, finally got to install and test it.

Background: Some Euro 80s had daytime running light (Iceland, Norway, Denmark afaik) which automatically turns on the head and taillights with the engine running, through a "running light relay" 82810-60011. This unit is installed in the driver side footwell above the transmission control/center diff lock module:

Blue 14-pin male connector on the harness side that connects to the running light relay:

Running light relay next to the sourced female connector and 2.3II male terminals:

The short connector needs 4 wire bridges in total (highlighted yellow):

Built short connector, this will plug into the harness instead of the running light relay:

Tested all the light functions after install, works like a charm
