Believe me, I can FULLY understand the pain you are dealing with. The evening after I hurt my back I finally got to the point where I couldn't take the pain any longer and told my wife I needed to go to the ER. The ONLY way I could get out of the house and to the car was to lean on my son on one side of me, and use a 1X6 as a crutch on the other side. Every step was very PAINFUL. It took TWO rounds of whatever pain meds the ER Dr shot me up with to get the pain under control.

Are you sure of your spelling? Isn't it spelled youth-in-asia?

I can see that 44 is going to be very lonely for a while.

Don

No, youth-in-Asia is a whole nuther dynamic.

Don't worry about 44, I got her a little friend

Nice Cadillac! Just do like my wife's cousin's husband. He made up some four wheel carts and harnesses for their five (yes, 5!) Husky's. They have become a well known sight in their small town, when the weather is cool enough for the Husky's. I can just see it now. Daboise in harnesses, with Danny going for a ride, long hair just flowing in the wind.

Don

It's got ground clearance...but no room for Daboise.:(

OH! I forgot to mention... It's a two-dog-power model!!

We can't wait to get off road and back to our long, high elevation climbs... I doubt many hikers have considered using a walker... Especially a 2DP Walker!!

I'll probably have to buy daBoise new meats after this is over... But, they like new meats!!

Yeah, my 1/4" locks are blowing in the wind... But, only because I'm two weeks behind on my semi-annual haircut...

I have good news... And bad...

The bad news is, I'm so drugged I don't know what day it is... Maybe this was good news too. :hmm:

The good news is, my pain is quite tolerable today! I slept 10 uninterrupted hours last night. I got up this morning and staggered into the living room before I realized I got up... Thus far, thru the day, I can feel the pain at times. But, never feel the urge to scream like I did yesterday. :bounce:

Hell, I had the bad girl, next door, knocking on the common wall a couple of times... She probably wondered what the hell the old man next door was doing...

So, today is a great day... Tomorrow will be at least as good, 'cuz today is tomorrow at Tom's (@lostmarbles) house and I always find out about today a day ahead of time

Back to Wonderland.

10 hours of ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZs. - Not bad Danny.

You'll soon be over the worst of it and be able to ease off on the meds...

BTW- Your tomorrow is full of gale-force winds, hail and sleet again...

:)

Thanks Tom!!

Hail, sleet, gale force winds? In this heat??

Never heard about Roy :hmm: just sayin'

That's great news Danny, remember eat lots of veggies and fruit and drink plenty of water. Don't wanna get clogged up.

Damn Tom, hope you got everything tied down and the cruiser out of the weather.

Got it Nolen!!

Feeling great again today... Strolled, doglessly, around the block during a brief period of lucidity... And found my way home to two hurt and angry boys... But, they already forgot why... As have I...

So, today is another great day... Watching for hale and sleet...

She is probably interested in what kind of shenanigans are going on! It might remind her of her "job"!

I should have recorded a bit of my screams and put it into a loop... I could have played it next time we leave the house empty for a while... There's a spot in the master closet that you can hear low mumbling from next door... Perfect spot to place the player and turn it up...

Oh well, I thought of it too late... Hoping the pain doesn't recur... But, if it does...

Careful, she might come looking for a new client!

I ran out of ammo :(

I'd really be afraid what I could catch... Not just STDs, dumb is also contagious... To misquote the little daughter in When a Man Loves a Woman, "Will there be bullets(swans)?" And Andy Garcia replied "(Swans) Bullets are possible."

Don't wanna catch no bullets... But, I'm too drugged to be real concerned right now.

I mentioned, in an earlier post about screaming so loudly whenever I had to do anything involving my left leg... Dianna just asked if I mentioned crawling and screaming to the bathroom, for my first boom-boom... I don't think I mentioned it because I was severely drugged and don't think I recalled it until she brought it up.

Anyway, there was a period of a few hours/days/years, when the pain was a good 50, in a scale of 1-10... The first time I felt the urge to go, I couldn't stand up, it hurt so bad. But, I was able to slide out , into my hands and knees.

Every move was excruciating, but I managed to get onto the toilet, just as it crowned... I don't recall what I was screaming about... The pain or the delivery, which was several days past full term.

Dianna sent up white smoke to let the neighbors know I had a new poop.

Sorry, no pictures... But $hit happened

WOW. Just wow.

Hey Ryan,

I'm sure your "Wow" is directed at my TMI, but I just learned that Dianna had the forethought (and lack of empathy) to document my personal "journey through the hallway of hell"... She says its so she can prove to the doctor, just how painful this was..

I would take her at her word, but she has already shared this photo with her friends and yet, I only learned of the existence of the photo moments ago.

Not the best quality, but you can make out the headless hulk slowly making his way to the throne... Get the picture?

If Dianna posted that pic on Facebook then the whole world has probably been watching you crawling to bog Danny. Now that's something pleasant for you to consider...:D

....Damn Tom, hope you got everything tied down and the cruiser out of the weather.

Still out in the weather and ... whoops....the back doors and some other things are open so the rains actually getting inside and soaking into the rear carpet......

Oh well. :meh: I'm not as fussy about now as I once was.. Things change.

Luckily, Dianna doesn't do social media, Tom (@lostmarbles )... But she has friends who do.

Shame it wasn't a vidio, cut off before the dirty deed was done... Then y'all could have heard my screaming.

If I hadn't felt it, I would have never believed a little nerve could cause That level of pain!!

Don't wanna piss that sucker off again!!

Danny, I'm sorry but that's some funny s***. Glad your doing better man.
