and all the rest!

Looks like the .44 is aiming toward your lower back

That IS where my pain originates...

I carry it in a holster in my center console while driving... I also have a more easily deployable (in close quarters) M&P40C that is readily available ;)

The Molle holster is situated for potential emergency use while I'm in bed.

But, thanks for your concern, Dave!! :)

I'm building a trailer to haul my RTT, in my RTT I have my shotgun - I figure that if I get woken up, aiming will be my chief concern... of course, the down side is more holes to patch the further the meat sack is away from the blast... of course, since I carry a miniature mastiff (only 170 lbs), I feel less inclined to take anything but long-distance firearms....he's for the close-in work. (which also explains the need for a wheels on my 300 mag - you don't fire it more than you touch it off). For those who are curious, it's a weatherby barrel on a modified springfield 30-06 action... and no, no pictures of any of my firearms on the net... sorry.

Since you're building it, why not integrate the 300 into a turret on the RTT trailer build? ;)

Lack of reciprocity prevents me carrying my .44 mag while fly fishing in CO... So, the spray it is...

Every State aught to honor reciprocity, it sucks when you have to leave hardware at home just to cross State lines!

I hate that vulnerable and empty feeling!

It is only an issue if you get caught! I have tucked one under my flyfishing vest for years.

Reciprocity is a big can of worms. I wish all states recognized all other states. Oregon is a backwards state!!

I like the way you have 44 set up Danny, both inside and outside. I just wish I could afford to get my 40 running again. I loved driving it, primitive as it is compared to 44.

Thanks Don!!

What ever happened to that F1.5 that SBG gave you?

Concealed properly, the law should never notice you are packing, on the other hand a pissed of landowner who thinks I may be trespassing, I feel I have the right to defend myself at all cost.

Danny, you know the old saying,

"I would rather be tried by twelve than carried by six"

Been my motto when I'm out and about since I left the Army.

You betcha, Ryan!!

We live in a potentially dangerous world nowadays... vigilance is key!!

Its always a good time watching your progress on this Danny. I try to store many of your ideas for mine when I get ready for it. Very Well prepared and thought out build. Hope you like that M&P 40C, That is my every day carry (yes its possible even in CA). I especially like it after upgrading to the Apex Tactical Duty/Carry action enhancement kit. 5lbs trigger pull weight and a shorter reset really helped.
Thanks for sharing & Keep up the great work!
