You bet, Don!! I liked the one I had on the back so much, I had to add them to the sides... I think I only paid $15 for the pair on Amazon. The one on the back was $18.

Nice job Danny but I thought you were supposed to stay in the dark for a few more weeks ; )
I'm really surprised that more folk don't fit lights to the sides of their vehicles. You see so many trucks with kilowatts of lights up front and nothing to see where your front wheels are! It makes it so much easier to travel off road at night. They are great for camping too :)

Thanks! I still can't drive 44 off road, or crawl under her... but, with my 20/15 distance vision and these new lights I can see what you are doing right now!!

Well, two more weeks before the eye Dr releases me and Dianna won't let me go out with daBoise before then...

So, we piled into the Tundra today and drove to Badwater, CA, in Death Valley to see the "superbloom"... wasn't quite as impressive as we hoped... but pretty anyway... and a great hazy day!!

Here's a pic, looking west at the Sierras, across Death Valley, just south of Badwater.

This hazy shot, looks north, up the valley... with the Tundra slipping into the image

This is an alluvial fan of flowers and people... I think they are taking pictures of the flowers... I liked the wall behind them

This is me an daBoise... Chester is catching a quick nap

Nice pics Danny!

The boys look great next to their daddy with the cool shades!

Thanks Mike!! You see my readers hanging from my shirt? First time I've ever not been able to read with help... Takes getting used to...

But, I love being able to see through solid walls!!

It must be nice to have

X-Ray vision, why bother carrying the readers? I'm sure all the women run when they see you coming with your

X-Ray eyes, you must be lovin it though.

The best my doctor's could do on me was 20/30, only see by feel now

You can tell Gunner loves you Danny by the way he is leaned up against your leg. What a nice old guy he is!

He is that!!

Since I can now sleep in bed again, I awaken at 3:30am, each morning to find Chester has jumped in bed and has his leg across my chest and his hot breath blowing in my face.

They are very loving dogs... And Chester is very protective.

Your looking great with your dogs by your side! It's so good to see the world again isn't it? The one thing I noticed was all the vibrant colors coming back and how far I could see clearly. How lucky we are to live in a time where we can see again after cataract surgery in one month or less. Beautiful pics. It's just like being there all over again.
Congrats
Dave

Thanks Dave!! It's definitely awesome!!

Jeez, guys, this puts my having to use reading glasses in perspective - - mebbee not so bad after all.

Mine have brought on some interesting comments from co-workers , especially my Snake Eyes safety glasses - lenses are almost 1/4" thick and quite heavy . Another welder wanted to see how I was doing uphill runs on 3/8" x 36" casing pipe - he just looked through my hood from the back and commented how well he could see the future... I jabbed a hot welding rod into his leg for that one .

Your friends laugh with you, instead of at you.

I'm typing this in the parking lot of the gym where I'm heading in for a couple of hours of volleyball...with MY Snake Eyes safety glasses with the 1/4" lenses because I got tired of breaking regular specs in the scuffle.

On a more tangential note, it is sure interesting to see the difference in tone and content in this forum over the course of 12 years, as much of our extended family ages.

I definitely agree with you Mark. I don't know if it has been twelve years for me, but I do know it has been a long time. I was reading Mud several years before I got hurt at work, and that has been seven years as of the week before Christmas.
