That is the ultra rare factory HPRU, ( human powered rowing unit ) it's like a backup generator, energency use only.......only item more rare is the coveted factory soap dish with cherry blossom soap.

73fj knows what's up. Probably because he's well schooled at tho'ing sumbitches in ayer. That there HPRU - like the DaVinci designed helicopter - is the remnants of the Toyoda-Tesla Manchurianfacturing Co, a secret weapon developed during the Russo-Japanese War for helping soldiers 'row' their bogged cannons out of that Vladivostokian Mud, which was thicker'n a HJ47 spring pack. You're quite lucky mate. If that 'T ever won't pull you free, you can just row yo'self out! Winninggggggg.

As Cult stated the HPRU can also be used with a series of sheaves (pulleys) to change direction of cables, to use as a functional winch, or with the beyond rare, like unobtanium, only 2 produced, no photo's existing, kit to run the windshield wipers.

You know I have both those kits.

Cult I think your long lost brother has been found living in Canada.

Hahahaha yessssss. I'm coming to the US with the lawyer next Aug/Sep - have to drop in on y'all! Anyway, back to your amazing build good sir! The 12H-T 45 really is the cream of the crop.

I moved the tailgate out of the office and into the garage where it belongs. No need in treading on the wife's good graces for too long. There was a lot of help from some fellows Mud members to make the rear view of the ol 45 turn out this good. Thanks to Kevin @Awl_TEQ for the work of art I call a tailgate. Thanks to Gabe @Indygbd for the NOS latches. And last but not least thanks to Brad @bhicks for the TEQ badge in billet aluminum. I think it all came together rather nicely.

I also assembled the instrument cluster and dropped it in place.

Man that coming together nicely! I think i'm starting to get jealous over here ;)

Is that a Dakota Digital dash cluster? I've been looking at those myself. Are you able to make the tach work with the diesel tach sender?

Thanks Mark. It is a DDD and there is a separate tach module that will accept diesel tach input signal. I don't have it installed yet. But that will happen soon.

Looks like a clean install with the tach in the cluster. I might need to convert my 45 to 12 volt after all...

Not according to their website.

That cluster is so beautiful, I think I'm going to start weeping. Keep up the good work.
Yeah I think you just converted me to a DDD for the family more door 45.

This weekend was much more productive! On Saturday I rebuilt the tie rod. In case I have failed to mention it earlier I am using the 70 series tie rod and drag link with the 70 axle I installed and my Saginaw PS unit. The 70 tie rod and drag link are larger in diameter than the 40 series counter parts the Saginaw PS kit is intended to be used with. I am having a machine shop shorten the drag link and re-drilling the pitman arm. Then I made a gasket (I got tired of waiting for the reproduction gasket, after 7 weeks I received the wrong gasket :bang:) for the upper cab and installed the upper cab section. Then on Sunday afternoon I installed the door headers, roof gasket, roof panel, head ache rack, hood, most of the hood accessories and the sun visors. It was a busy afternoon!!
