RIP Rock.

Last Friday our last surviving pup Hercules crossed the rainbow bridge. Man, how we miss our pack. We had Lap of love home service assist him (us) with a peaceful transition. My wife and I wiped him down and spent cherished time cutting our favorite locks of fur to add to his little memorial along with the other three.
Our sweet boy at four months.

At ten months.

26 days prior to his passing.

He’s been reunited with his pack.
Run In Peace Phalanx, Gladius, Valkyrie, and Hercules.
I once read “God lends us dogs to teach us how to love unconditionally”. While this is so true, I must have missed the part about the hole in my chest once God calls them home.
Hercules was 12 years 4 months.

Sorry for your loss, Shepards have an important place in my heart. Truly fantastic dogs, they don’t nearly live long enough.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Gorgeous pack. May they all run in peace.

We brought Herc’s ashes home so he’s now with the other three. As goofy as this may come across, having him home again has brought peace to both my wife and I.
Thank you all for lending an ear and showing compassion.

Boy my heart hurts for my beautiful daughter tonight. Home from college, her cat of 14 years (she is almost 20) been losing weight. Goes to vet today for recheck after having high white count Friday and has large tumor on its stomach.
Difficult decision to end his life and suffering was all on her.
Gonna be long night..

Boy my heart hurts for my beautiful daughter tonight. Home from college, her cat of 14 years (she is almost 20) been losing weight. Goes to vet today for recheck after having high white count Friday and has large tumor on its stomach.
Difficult decision to end his life and suffering was all on her.
Gonna be long night..

Had to put Margaret to sleep on Wednesday. 15 years and 1 month. Was given 6-9 months in August of 2022. Mixture of devastated and relieved. Adopted her in January of 2014, when I still lived in Texas.

It is. Our other two huskies have been very subdued and our eldest dog refuses to go into the closet she had her bed in.

When we lost one of our eldest pups, the younger one didn’t seem to care, which came as a shock to me. She adored the older dog.

So sorry… what a blessing to have a beloved pet for close to two decades.

What a beautiful pup! Margaret is whole again and running free.
All my pups acted differently with each passing of a pack member. Perhaps they feel our pain as well. Condolences brother.
