I am going to install a 4" skyjacker lift this weekend and have been racking my mind for anything else I should do or consider doing while I'm in there. One thing I remember someone discussing was either flipping the rear springs or relocating the hangers. I see the benefits, stability, center the wheels in the wheel well allowing for larger tires, etc. What are the draw backs? Is it worth the extra effort?

a change in driveshaft lengths is one issue. some believe that flipping the hangers results in more dive under brakes.

i got an easy one for you.

if you go on the smaller side i think you can get away with out needing a longer drive shaft.

just going .75" centers the wheel in the wheelwell real nice.

hth.
