Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

I posted that in this thread back in Nov ish I think.

It was 95k miles. Has minor rust, but most importantly an oil leak. And zero Maintenance/Carfax records. It has bumpers, skid, drawers, roof rack, but cheaply lifted (OME nitro) stiff springs when unloaded, and it squeaks as it drives.

Lots of people went to see it, including at least another mudder, and walked away. It sat for a month for a reason.

If the 3UR didn't cost so much to repair, I'd buy that already. I'm willing to pay extra for an HE, but that particular case I'd rather buy a non HE for $60k and not risk a big repair bill in the near future.

The person who bought it must really know what they're doing, or had no clue. I think me and most "normal" LC enthusiast with "normal" driveway mechanic skills would have walked away.
Ouch. Yes, explained. HE fever has its limits.

Looking at a 2015 LX570 with 172k miles, no accidents, no rust, silver on black in good condition. It has every option with dynamic cruise, ML sound, cool box, rear entertainment etc. Decent service records and radiator flushed a few times as well as recent spark plug replacement at Lexus.

No record of radiator replacement or coolant valley repair and the diff lock isn't working, but I just fixed that on my 2010 that I'll be selling (upgrading for the wife). It also desperately needs tires.

Is $25k too high? I'm taking another look at it tomorrow morning to check the radiator, cam towers, and coolant valley more closely.
Doesn't seem high to me and I've looked at a lot of LXs in the past few months.

Very nice buy! Congrats

Hi all,
I am new here and looking to buy my first LC. I found this Amazon Green 2011 and wanted to get some opinions on the price/ value here, whether or not it would be a good buy. What would you guys realistically peg the value of this to be, or if there are any red flags here that would make you skip it altogether. Thanks in advance! 2011 Toyota Land Cruiser - Q and A Motors - https://www.qandamotors.com/details/used-2011-toyota-land-cruiser/107941973
Nice find and one owner too!
I don't think 25k is too much for this bad boy.

Get some undercarriage pics….its got some rust
Yeah any amount of rust is not ideal, but the unfortunate reality of living in Chicago is that even if I bought a pristine SoCal truck it would have a decent amount of underbody rust in just a few years. My 2020 Tundra looked worse than 25 year old trucks from the west coast after just two winters, and that’s with using fluid film as well. As long as rust is only surface, not structural and not on any body panels I can generally forgive it. Looking at the Carfax though I didn’t see a coolant flush service. Is that a total deal breaker at this mileage?

Not bad and front end looks like it got a nice refresh from the fender bender. Price seems reasonable to me and a one owner is a big plus

Interesting view of the Carmax inventory right now. MANY new 250s for sale, only a couple reserved. Several 200s, full market price (in my opinion), all reserved. Maybe folks are getting back out of the 250 and looking for low mileage 200s?

Reckon volume has more to do with that than anything. Toyota is sending more 250’s than they did 200’s to the US market.

Green hard to value and this could be crusty with some deferred maintenance related to he northern climes but green is special
Yea green is very special, the past few green 200 on here or FBMP asked like $40-50k, which is crazy money for an early 200 imo, but they all sold just fine. Special color 200s are really cool. The Costa Azul Blue LX is probably my favorite. I'd love to get a Brandywine 200 too.

Though that color would make think twice but i would still pass on it. I am local to this one.

I’m a big fan of the green. Just feels right and stands out in a crowd. Beautiful trucks.
