Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

I'm not interested in a 70k mile vehicle nor particularly like the way 2016 looks.

Age is not of huge importance to me and 11 or 8 years old doesn't make a big difference.

$54k seems quite high to me. You are probably an outlier in the fact that you want lower miles more than you want the newest year. I'd use that to my advantage. 13 to 15 LX's with under 50k miles are in the $40k range. I think $45k would be in the ballpark.

What are your guys thoughts on a 2013 Land Cruiser, 2 owners, 34k miles, $54k?
A little rich IMO. But if mileage is that important then do what you gotta do. I was shopping for a pre face life 200 a couple months ago and found plenty of them with <100k miles priced in the low to mid $40k range. So if you can bump your mileage up a little there are better deals to be had.

I hear you. I woulnt spend $55k for a pre 2016.

I bought a low mileage 100 11 years ago and was stuck replacing all the wear items (AC, starter, alternator etc. ) so low mileage to me isn’t very important to me compared to maintenance

YMMV
This LC runs like top. No need to do any AC, starter or alternator work.

I did a nationwide search within CONUS and did not find any 13-15 LCs with sub-35k miles for $45k. LX - plentiful, especially with higher miles.

Hmm ok, if a '13 LC is really worth $45k with 34k, I might as well just keep it as a spare overseas vehicle. Doesn't seem worth it losing $20k on an LC after 2 years.

Thanks.

Are you looking to sell it for $54k? Your first post sounded like you were buying. Maybe just list it for that and see what you get for interest.

I think it's probably 50+ with the lower miles and it being an LC. Most people, including myself, prefer the 16+, which seems to command a small premium.

Gauging stateside market value (and comparing it to other countries). Thanks.

Ok thanks. And thus my number. Unless the 16+ LCs with sub-34k miles can be had for $54k..

I would guess a 16+ with only 34k miles would be in the high 50s low 60s. I think your number is a little high, but it isn't crazy. Someone looking for the 6 spd/2013 styling would probably bite in the low 50s. It also depends on the market... Rust-free is huge. (Yes, I know based on your posts your truck is pristine.)

Did those components actually fail on you though? Or did you just replace them as a preventative (unnecessarily)?

My 2005 LC has the original AC compressor, starter and alternator. Same with my 2006 Corolla.

From my quick research on cars.com and autotrader, Im seeing the 16+ with <34k miles are listed at high 60, not high 50s / low 60s 🤔

And yes, the truck is in good condition. Close condition wise to the 5k mile 2011 LX570 that recently sold for $65k on BaT.

Ok so between the responses and looking at the market, it seems like $54k is a pretty fair starting point for this 2013 LC Thanks.

It may be $3k high, but that color combo and the fact it has new Michelins I would pull the trigger.

I've looked at so many that unfortunately have had one issue or another and weve passed.
I'm planning on keeping this one a long time like I did my hundred series so I tend to agree with you @El Skywalker

I need to look up production numbers. Was the white with terra somewhat on the rare side?

I don't know about it being rare, I just frequent these forums a lot and don't see that combo very much.
The price is right, I'd say $44/$49k depending on previous ownership.

Thank you for the replies guys! Much appreciated.

I just got it secured, picking it up Monday morning. I couldn't be more excited to get back into a LC. I've missed my 100 series ever since I sold it to a good friend a few years ago..

Looking at a 2015 LX570 with 172k miles, no accidents, no rust, silver on black in good condition. It has every option with dynamic cruise, ML sound, cool box, rear entertainment etc. Decent service records and radiator flushed a few times as well as recent spark plug replacement at Lexus.

No record of radiator replacement or coolant valley repair and the diff lock isn't working, but I just fixed that on my 2010 that I'll be selling (upgrading for the wife). It also desperately needs tires.

Is $25k too high? I'm taking another look at it tomorrow morning to check the radiator, cam towers, and coolant valley more closely.

Picked up a CPO nori green LX w 26k for my wife. Grand canyon trip home.
