Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

Anyone had any luck lately with a purchase?
I see few variables on making the move difficult: inflated prices and lack of good samples. I think good trucks are in the 65k range are easiest to source. For trucks with book values around 25k and higher are mostly marked up heavily. I made a contact with private saler day of posting, single owner but upon closer look felt no repairs ever statement didn't add up seeing 2018+ intercooler on the photo and listing was then quickly removed.

They are now down to 77,800 lol. I told them I was a buyer at 75k. Playing the waiting game now.
There’s a 2021 for 87k w 37k miles cpo in Memphis tn. Fair warning it was in an undisclosed accident at some point bc rear bumper was painted flat white instead of blizzard pearl as the rest of the truck. Tried to knock off $500 when I pointed the issue out beyond a shadow of a doubt.

I found a 2010 with 164k. Zero rust, southern vehicle. $29,500. Jump on it?? I just sold my truck and need something. Thinking LC 200 or LX.

Thanks! I actually had my eye on that one, but uninterested now.

One thing this thread could use is posting of VIN's. I'm a 996 GT3 owner and in the pricing thread over on rennlist (porsche forum), they will post VIN's when someone finds out something interesting about a car (accident, track abuse, prior for sale thread, etc). It helps because if you google the vin, the thread comes up.

Hell yeah!
Check the top of the radiator for cracks.
Seems like at sweet deal either way! Congrats.
Cool! I’ll check that. Is that a pain point on the 200s? I successfully swapped out the radiator on my wife’s GX470 about 10 months ago so I could probably do a LC as well if needed.

Wanted to get some additional thoughts. This is what the seller sent me:

“First of all, the Cruiser had an oil change, fluids topped off, front and rear rotors and pads replaced and the tires rotated and balanced. Looked great other than that.

The tire pressure light is on. Toyota said it needs at least one sensor, but they won't know for sure if that's the only one until they replace the one they can see has died.. That's not something I will be doing.

The front of the hood had a clear bra on it at some point. And there is a line where the bra was vs where it wasnt. It's very minor and very common. I see it all the time.

The rear bumper has a very small imperfection on it. Again, very minor.

And lastly, the digitizer for the command unit is turning yellow. Again, which is common to see over time. They can be replaced and purchased aftermarket. Last time I bought one I think it was under $50 on ebay.

Other than that, the vehicle is straight up. Hope this all helps and let me know if you have any questions. “

All very “easy” things to fix as seller. They’re not fixing concerns me more than the things needing fixing. As in, these are the obvious things that are noticeable…. What is not noticeable that they aren’t fixing….

Well the screen probably isn’t easy to find locally. There is a cheap $60 screen on eBay. The TPMS modules are $250 on eBay for OEM I think? Not sure how much that would cost to get installed.

He said he would meet me in the middle of the $310 for parts at $155. I can install the screen myself.

It is common issue and with a ton of threads on here about the subject.

Don't really care for the sellers' tone FWIW.
Sounds like a used car salesman...

Very common... very minor... no big deal... etc....

Awesome, thanks for the reassurance. I’ll dig a little deeper. The TPMS light will drive me nuts.

Probably just how it sounds coming through via email. He has been very nice so far. He buys and sells LCs a good bit I think.

Sellers who buys and sells are experts to hide major issues and is cleaver at discolsing every single minor detail so we think he was a good gentleman to discolse even a minor issue (where the buyer won't even notice). Be careful! Recently there was a LC 2008 or 9 with 174 K miles at Toy dealer in Venice FL for $24K. The truck was in excellent condition both inside and out. Seats barely had cracks. I was so close making a deposit but it got sold within 4-5 days of listing. Prices are dropping.... for sure. (I am also thinking about an Armada 4x4 -white ext and armolnd int, and the Grenadier which will be introduced to US next year._

Support for the Armada (aka Patrol Y62) isn't very large here in the states from what I've seen.
The Grenadier is expected to be 70 or 80k+ here in the states. Throw in it's a brand new vehicle, no support structure, etc and you'll probably wish you had just gotten a LC. But just my 0.02

Take a look at the one at Lexus of Memphis that just popped up today. I don’t think I’m going to be able to make a return trip until next week at the earliest. There are two I have my eye on in Franklin but I can’t figure out why the 2018 w 27k miles is $3k more than the silver newer one with fewer miles. 🤷🏻‍♂️.

What’s everyone’s thoughts on a good price on a 2021 with 70k miles? Looks clean, accident on carfax but listed as no damage to vehicle. Some service history. I’m having trouble finding comps because of the mileage on a 2021.

Man that’s going to be a tough one. You’d be better off from a computer standpoint finding an 18 or 19 w the miles. I bet the dealer wants about $78k. If private seller probably about $73k. That said there may be better options for the $’s.

Yep, they’re asking $80k. They started at $90k in mid-June. I’m thinking about trying to hammer them at about $70k and walk if they don’t want to deal.

They’re not going to deal. Unfortunately I’m 7 dealerships in and they’re all pretty damn stubborn. Analytics says…. Analytics can kiss my a$$. There aren’t people lining up to pay $90k for these.

Someone new here just paid $99,000 for one like a week ago.....

Keep waiting. All the ones I've been watching have fallen in price too (eye is on a cpo 18 with 50k miles - started at 79.9 and is now at 76.9 within two weeks). With the market activity today, these things still have some room to fall, imho.

There is a 40k mile HE in Texas that was at a porsche dealer, but just got transferred to a toyota dealer. Was at 83.9 at the porsche dealer. At 85.9 at the toyota dealer, but they did cpo it. Trying to get info about the accident on the carfax, but they just keep saying 'it's in perfect condition, come see it.' I want paint readings, if possible.
