Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

Just got a 2008 LX570, 188k, 2 owner, dealer maintained every 5k at Lexus for the first 100k, super clean, PA truck first owner & TN after that (light rust underneath), Paid $20k plus tax at dealer in Knoxville, TN

Playing around with KBB values. Here's a cash offer on a 2021 base. I'm sure there is some wiggle room

Looking at a 2015 LC with 80k miles for $56k. Is that a reasonable price?

Provided it’s clean underneath, I think that’s a pretty damn good deal in this market

How did you set this up?
just go to KBB. like they provide private party and trade-in values they also have an option to receive an offer. its just like carman. bring the offer to the dealership the offer indicates, they walk around the vehicle, makes sure it is not a rust bucket, and then they give you the $

If you do sell it, let us know what they give you. I've always gotten higher than the KBB instant value number.

What’s with the 2020s being flipped for 20 grand more ?

It is simple supply and demand.
I find it somewhat concerning that I continue to see people ask that question which has such an obvious answer. Do we not teach basic economics anymore?

It’s possible to fully understand the concept of supply and demand while remaining curious about why the supply vs.demand imbalance in a specific area is changing. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I’m in the market for another LC as well, and I think it’s a combination of the following:
-increased interest due to overlanding,
-Increased interest/perceived scarcity due to the 200-series exit and no 300-series LC in sight,
-all compounded by low sales volume and the acknowledgment that the 100/200 series has been a great value until 2021.

Because it was seen as a luxury vehicle by the majority of the American market, it probably suffered unnecessary depreciation and was undervalued and is now pontentially only slightly over-valued for what it is.

I initially was drawn to the platform for the value proposition, and despite its inflation, I still think it’s a great value. I sold my ‘05 LX470 in 2016 for 21k and 130k miles to get into our 2011, and I’m looking at paying the same price to get into another ‘05 with 175k. Go figure.

Advice needed.

New 2021 LX MSRP of $105750. Negotiated down to $101675

Thought about a LX600 but I prefer the 570.

Wanted a LC but like the plush of the the LX. Plan to use it as a daily for the next 5-6 years.

Thoughts on price? Should I go for a certified 2020 LX570 with 14k miles for $89k with less options (No Sport package)

Which would you buy?

1. 2015 LX570 w/ 95k miles for $40k (Luxury w/ Radar)
2. 2013 LX570 w/ 130k miles for $37k (Luxury)
3. 2011 LX570 w/ 175k miles for $28 (Luxury)
