Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

Purchased a 2017 LC, 100k miles for 62k (ouch but it is my dream truck). Very minimal rust (basically none). Seems to be very well maintained, drives like it's new and passed PPI with flying colors. Hoping to turn it into an overlanding rig.

Will be baselining it soon (currently in new england), if anyone has mechanic recommendations in NH/VT please let me know.

thoughts on a 2014 LC with 86k miles for $52,500?
My current analysis -- which turns out to be fairly extensive as a result of my own searching -- suggest that for that mileage and price you are on the lower end of range based on the current market. I have over 150+ data points of past sales and LC's currently on the market for what it's worth.

Just out of curiosity, how does my deal compare with your data points?

We need to get into a nice 200 series by early March. Been looking like crazy and finally found a private party 2015 Toyota Land Cruiser. West coast since new - no rust, no accidents and it has 79k miles.

Sounds like we can make something happen pretty close to $50k / $52k. Thoughts?

That's a good deal. There is a 2014 LC with 110k miles on it for $50k near me.

I think I looked at the same car as you. I test drove the car and there were a couple items that concerned me. When I tried to use the center diff lock, it engaged and light turned on but once you press the button again, it wouldn't disengage.. had turn off the car and turn it back on to get it to disengage. There was also a pretty large rock chip on the driver side windshield. Also, button for the headlight spray didn't work but when are you ever going to use that. I think you can definitely talk him down to $50k

Is this the gray one in San Francisco? I was considering taking a look but will pass if it's the same one that you drove.

Doesn't help that I found the seller quite obnoxious in my brief correspondence with her.

For what it’s worth, the CDL is pretty finicky in many 200s, so the fact that it engaged on the first try and disengaged without some wiggling on soft ground is a pretty good sign. Were the headlights on when you tried the washer? Mine (an ‘11) only works when the headlights are on.

$53k firm seems to be the price. I’m going to pass as I think this is too much surface rust.

Let me know if you want the info and I’ll connect you with the seller.

2015 79k dark grey on black.
