Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

That seems to be a very good price, if the carfax, maintenance and rust check out.

Assuming condition is good and it has a few options, that’s a good price. Without any options, I’d say less good, but still alright price. If that’s an out the door price, it’d be really good.

The CarFax on the dealer site looks great, always serviced regularly at Lexus in HOU, shouldn't be any undercarriage rust but you could ask them to send you a pic of undercarriage just to verify.
I have the tan interior in my LX and just discovered the amazingly easy way to keep it looking like new, a Steam Cleaner, got this one off Amazon and took off years of dirt in minutes.
McCulloch Steam Cleaner

This one also has the very rare Pre-Collision / Emergency Braking and the Dynamic Cruise Control, I can tell by the 5th button on the right side. I wish mine had this option, I know it's not as advanced as the 2016+ LX Pre-Collision and Dynamic Cruise, but still a nice option.

Thanks for your reply and insight. Ideally, I was wanting a 2015. Anything I should consider given this is a 2014? The miles are low and that is obviously the best indicator of usage/wear and tear, but was there any changes from 2014-15 that are worth noting? If I have to give in on a couple things (interior color and year), this seems like a great option. Thanks!

I just bought a 2014 L/certified Starfire Pearl LX from a Houston Lexus dealer for $44k. It has 61k, one TX owner(older lady), and was serviced at the dealer every 5k miles. Clean carfax and no accidents. Came with all the accesories, smart card key, cargo net, and headphones still in the wrapper.

The price would have been closer $42k if it didn't need two tires, 60k service, alignment, and the "all so important" fuel injector flush.

It is currently in transit to OR and will post pics when I have it.

So they are doing all that at the selling dealership and that's why it's $2K more to you??

I had the opportunity to buy it as used vehicle, but I wanted the Certified warranty. So in order for the vehicle to pass the certification inspection, it needed the mentioned parts/services...with the exception of the fuel injector flush which is not a factory recommended service.

I think I answered your question, but let me know otherwise.

Looking at a 2011 570 that specifies "undercoating/rustproofing inspected" or something to that effect in two places on the carfax. Vehicle spent most of it's life in IN and CO, being sold a few hrs. from me in LA.

Is rust any less of a concern on these as it is on the 100 series? Didn't know what this "undercoating/rustproofing" comment was regarding, in other words is this just b.s.?

Just picked up a 2016 LC with 32k miles and a Toyota Platinum 7 yr/100k warranty. All maintenance records done via a prepaid maintenance plan. Picked it up for $53k.
That sounds like a very good deal!

2014 LC, 140K on the clock but very clean, single owner, serviced at dealer religiously. Dealer wants $35,900, doesn't seem to want to budge very much. Autotrader seems to think they are high, but not by too much.

What do you guys think?

That's like between like 26k and 28k a year....yikes. I quickly checked KBB and they have it at about $31k just FYI.

I have a deposit on a 2017 LC 30k miles, one owner, super clean, no rust, CPO $61,990

@bamma how did you go about getting the platinum warranty? Is that good from your date of purchase, or the original owners?

The original owner bought the warranty and transferred it to me. If you are within 3/36k of original purchase date, you can buy a extra care warranty from any dealer after the sale, and can likely get a deal. If you buy from your selling dealer, you can still get a platinum even after the 3/36k period.

That seems steep. I think you could get a under 100k vehicle for clos to that. I'd consider 2013 if budget is maxd, and if all else is equal.
