Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

Newer member looking for price check for a listing I found:

2009 southern LC in very good condition
127k miles, white w/tan
Tundra forged trd wheels and newer ko2 33’s
2” ome lift and upper control arms
Prinsu roof rack with Gobi ladder
Rock sliders- not sure of brand
Trail Tailor red tow mounts (2)
Weather tech mats throughout

Asking 35k or best offer. Understand this is high to start for vehicle. Is there a best practice to value used mods or built value?

Used mods are one of the stickiest issues for buyers and sellers I think. You will likely get vastly different opinions based on who you talk to. Probably the best way to do it for me is ask yourself how much do the mods mean to you? Figure out the price of the base truck then if the mods are well done and very important for you and you like that someone already put in the labor on them (suspension mods, not roof rack etc.) Then give the seller a decently high percentage of the cost of those mods as credit in the pricing. How high? Well that depends on you, but I wouldn't go more than say 70 percent on a used but meaningful labor intensive mod like say suspension. Stuff like racks/ tents it's really about the resale value, check the classifieds for what they are going for and if your plan is to keep them then add that value on to the price. Clear as mud right?

Well, I finally pulled the trigger. Picked up a Silver 2013 LX with 69990 mi on it. Bought local in SA private sale, for 38K. It has lived in TX, Lubbock and SA it's whole life. Very excited to have her in the family. The wife is less than pleased! I can survive the storm thou, I hope.

Plan on building this with my two sons, only wish we didn't live in TX. Not a lot of places to drive it off road or disperse camp. If I am wrong, I would love to learn where besides Big Ben, 8 hrs away, and Corpus Christi and the national sea shore. Will post some pics if the silver lady soon.

What site did you use to find it?

Thank you Erse!
You are absolutely right on the fluid film except it will be LPS-3 ;)
Yes it was an ongoing daily effort on all search engines with emphasis on private sales (I know almost none) since I was ready to pay cash for her and took about 5 months to find what I wanted...
Probably one of the hardest vehicles to find including my Porsche 911 964.
Eventually scored her on Car Gurus.

Agreed !
Cheers !!

Picked up a 2011 black LX w 85k for $30,500 at Lexus of Las Vegas today. Have been looking around for a LC for about a year and finally decided to start looking at both. Really wanted the LC but they are just so hard to find.

It had a scratched area, probably 3 or 4 scratches 1-2" long just below the driver's door handle. My wife said a piece of wood came out of nowhere and hit it while she was driving. I wouldn't have believed her if the same thing hadn't happened to me about 12 years ago. I assume the dealer will touch that up. There was a small tear a little less than 1" on the inboard side/back of the passenger seat. I assume the dealer will repair that as well. Other than that just small carpet stains from hauling 2 kids. Again, dealer should clean carpet in reconditioning.

I should add, this vehicle has, or at least had when I traded it, Lexus' paint protection package. Clear bra on the hood and behind the door handles. I'm not sure what else that package includes. It still has the original windshield with no rock chips. No other glass replaced either.
Superb info...again. Thanks very much fir the time!

Again, condition varies on each of these, but it gives you an idea of what they are selling for.
Columns show location, date of sale, model year, mileage, etc.

How do you get this type and level of pricing details? I am curious.

Just picked up a 2008 LX in northern CO for $25k. 109k miles. Mechanically good with all the records. It had the front bumper cover and headlight damaged and repaired (albeit poorly). But that is just a future project :). Black on Grey. I was trying really hard to find a black interior and settled for the grey since everything else seemed to be beige.

Also, decided to officially join after being a lurker for awhile since I am officially part of the club!

Finally got mine. I think I overpaid. 2015 CPO with 50k miles 52k $

Sometimes you've got to pay a little more for something you really want - especially taking CPO into consideration, maintenance history, new tires, or whatever it may be that you won't have to address down the road. Regardless... enjoy that thing and keep it for life.

2019 Grey with black interior
10k miles
OME BP-51
Rims, 34” BFG KO2
Slee\ sliders
All chrome painted flat black
UCAs
Tinted windows
Xpel ppf on hood and rockers

$78,500

Bought it here - pictures are in the for sale thread
