Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

Is this too much for this? KKB says yes it is.

It's a 100 series. Might ask that forum.
But looking at it with just coming from purchasing a used 200. Yes, that is way high. It's a 13 year vehicle, with yes, lower miles but these cruisers are beasts. Doesn't have the wonderful engine that the 200s do, nor the over engineered 200 platform.

Just pick up a 200 for that price point.

Dang, I did it again. Thanks I will post there. I'm looking at both 100 and 200'.

Thoughts on a '13, blizzard pearl w/ tan interior, 89k miles, $38.9k at a dealer? 1 owner TX truck, clean carfax with extensive dealer service records. Carfax looks like it was a lady's car and she did whatever the dealer said every time she came in.

To me seems high, I've seen some slightly higher in price however much much lower mileage. But they go quick.

Hi all. Thoughts on what to offer an independent dealer for the following?

2013 LX, 44k miles
White/Tan
Southern car
1 owner
Clean carfax
Properly maintained at dealer

Dealer is asking $46k.

Thanks.

Seems reasonable to me.

Carfax shows it was sold summer of 2012, so that's about 12.5k miles/yr average. Seems like pretty average mileage to me. Autotrader labels the price as "great" but idk if that's legit or not.

Run the Carfax report, check on iSeeCars under Research to get the trade in/retail car value and negotiate for a value in between. I learnt hard way that patience is a virtue. If I had just waited (as everyone on this forum suggests) you may get the car you want at few hundred to thousands less. Sometimes you come across that perfect car or the car in perfect condition and you don't want to miss out on it, go ahead and still negotiate. But no need to pay for more than the suggested retail price from the public research.

Thanks Diytech123....sound advice.

Two in my area I'm circling the drain on. Thoughts?

2010 Lexus LX 570 122k miles $26,800

2011 Toyota Land Cruiser 125k miles $28,000

LX has an impeccable service record. Carfax for the LC is missing diff/trans change and lots of oil changes, but I'm suspicious the carfax is wrong. Who buys a $85k car and skips oil changes?

Both look great!

LX570 looks like a well maintained vehicle (other than the damage noted on the car) Get the damage checked. I paid close for a 2009 LX for 120k miles (not a dealer serviced vehicle but well maintained). My car had a damage reported but that was 10 years ago.

I have performed 120k service at $1000 to change all fluids and baseline it for my comfort sake. Since this is a dealer serviced vehicle (therefore an overly maintained vehicle in my opinion) you must be covered from the service angle.

Most of the folks get their cars serviced at independent repair shops instead of relying on dealerships. My LX did not have the records either. If someone is buying an LC/X they know their stuff and don't overlook the maintenance I suppose.

Awesome! I just bought a '19 blue/terra as well. Paid $82k since my wife insisted on the rear entertainment for the kids (even though the extra $2k buys a lot of ipads). We get to take it home tomorrow. I was originally looking for a used 17-18 blue/terra but there are hardly any in that color combo so new was pretty much the only way to go. Local dealer had a new blue/black on the lot for a much better deal so that terra interior cost me at least $1500 since they had to acquire it from another dealership. Oh well, worth it to me.

Excellent choice. If you are really wanting a certain color combo, its worth it to pay extra to get it. You will forget about that extra $1500 soon. But if you went with the black, you would have been reminded every time you got in it, that you didnt get exactly what you wanted. I guarantee you will be saying to yourself, "I'm glad I got the Terra", and it will lead to more overall satisfaction with the car.

After searching on and off for 3 months or so, my wife and I just purchased a 2014 LX570.

The stats
2014 Onxy Black on Black (Nov ‘14 in service date)
86,000 miles
$39k out the door.
1 owner vehicle sold by the original selling dealer. Complete service and maintenance history included. Just got new tires and the 90,000 mile service.

This started by looking at 4runners, then progressed to LCs, and ended up with a LX from a far since all the local dealers wanted upper 30s for 100k 2013 LCs and “knew what they had”.

Well done and great looking LX. It looks brand new!

Mind if I ask what the asking price was, and where you settled, before fees?

Actually asking was 38956, the dealer is a Lexus Plus dealership, which I was originally skeptical of as that is code for no haggle. Apparently, the way it works is the asking price is the out the door price. So no negotiation, no fees, and they replaced a passenger side taillight (cracked lenses) and adjusted the leather on one seat that appeared to be missing a clip.

Compared to other dealers they were the lowest price for a loaded ‘14 I could find and I couldn’t get other dealers to match the out the door part. Ironically, I got an email update today that one other dealer just cut 1k off their price (they only offered to come down $500 for me last week). Still they wanted $1500 more than asking in fees and lowballed my trade. So I was happy to get a good deal from a Lexus Plus dealer who also offered me $1k more on my trade as well.

With the airbag fix rolling out, do you anticipate prices to rise or fall as dealers begin offering certified LXs?

Anybody have an opinion on this truck? Looking to add some comfort compared to my FJ-40. Seems reasonably priced to me but thought I would get a forum consensus.

Assuming there is no rust being in Al looks like a good deal. I'd buy it for that if it's really as good as all the pics and there is no accident history.

Thanks for the reply and yeah, haven't seen it in person. it looks like it started in PA, but I was just getting a general idea before making the 2.5 hr drive to check it out

Hi all- I’m hoping you might help me with a sanity check before I finalize a purchase... I’m looking at a 2017 LC at a local used dealer- 19k miles, $64k- see link. They SAY it’s a lease return. The price seems reasonable given some minor body scratches. Wear and tear is otherwise minimal. The Carfax records seem like a 10k service and 15k service were both done, though at different dealerships. Seems like the truck made trips up and down the west coast based on records. Hitch was being used but I’m thinking not to tow because wiring harness connection was still in glovebox. It has been on the lot for a while which I found a little surprising.

If I move forward I’ll take it to Toyota for an inspection but wanted a sanity check from the sage advisors here first! What do you think- would you buy it? Any red flags I’m missing?
