Ended up pulling the trigger on a 2017 gray/terra with 47k miles. Certified pre-owned, one owner (the sales guy himself) w/ all maintenance at dealership. Paid $61k pre-tax and $64k out the door.

wow that was a nice dealJust picked up a 2013, black on black, one owner, well maintained, with 138k miles for 28k + tax and BS. Found it locally at a Chevy dealer as a trade in, which was a huge plus.

What colors (int/ext) is it?I traded in my wife's 2014 LX on Wednesday. One owner, west texas car, all options. The cabin air filter door wasn't broken either.
They gave me $40,850 on trade.

Did they ever figure out what the gas smell was due to?
Supply and demand, Im not being snarky, thats just it. Some people prefer the subdued looks of the TLC and the simplicity/lack of features, and there are fewer TLCs than LX570s.Why are the resale values of the LC typically much higher than the LX 570??

I appreciate the scoop. I realize you are just trying to help out a potential buyer!I had Discount Tire put Michelin Defender tires on it. I can't remember the mileage, but I'm guessing around 20,000 miles ago.
The Lexus dealer looked into the gas smell and didn't find anything. It's only after filling up on very warm (95+degree) days. It seems to be a common issue on the 200 series forum. The car was always garaged (confined space) which probably exacerbated the smell.
Toyota dealer replaced brakes a few months ago. I'm not sure if they only did fronts or all 4 corners. This was my wife's daily driver. The nearest Lexus dealer is 2 hours away, so she took it to the Toyota dealer for service. She just accepted whatever service the dealer recommended.
I don't benefit from anyone buying, or not buying, this vehicle. It has been well cared for and I think it will be a good vehicle for another forum member.

It had a scratched area, probably 3 or 4 scratches 1-2" long just below the driver's door handle. My wife said a piece of wood came out of nowhere and hit it while she was driving. I wouldn't have believed her if the same thing hadn't happened to me about 12 years ago. I assume the dealer will touch that up. There was a small tear a little less than 1" on the inboard side/back of the passenger seat. I assume the dealer will repair that as well. Other than that just small carpet stains from hauling 2 kids. Again, dealer should clean carpet in reconditioning.I appreciate the scoop. I realize you are just trying to help out a potential buyer!
And the cosmetic stuff...any issues with scratches, paint chips, tears etc etc? Realizing this is a 5-6 year old vehicle I have seem some that looked like they just left the showroom and others that looked like they went to hell and back.
Thanks again!
