Let’s try this again, prior thread deleted, I assume they want to keep it clean, there was no explation given.

If you have sold a 100 series recently and want to share what you paid with details on truck this will be helpful for potential buyers currently looking.

This thread can be helpful for buyers looking to understand the market and different factors that come into play on pricing.

Please stay on topic!

I recently sold 2004 LX with 176k for 12,500. Truck was 9/10 on condition with full service records. Southern Vehicle no rust.

I have an 05 LX with 192k, sand dollar pearl, one owner basically. I just picked it up in December from the original owner. The original owner did all service at Sewell Lexus including a detail every few appts. Since I picked it up, I did the timing belt, water pump, tensioner, valve cover gasket, fan clutch, drive belt, plugs, tube seals, and hood shocks. My mechanic that did the valve cover commented that there was not even an ounce of sludge and it was evident that it was well taken care of. No rust as it's been in Dallas all its life. It's in almost perfect condition, even the factory Bluetooth works. The only thing it needs is the subwoofer cone to be rebuilt and 2 front tires; it has 5/32 left. I am only selling it as I picked up a low miles 06 in my favorite color of Blizzard pearl. I am waiting on another local MUD member to make an offer but wanted to check with you all to see what you would price this?
Sounds like a really nice truck. I would personally avoid pricing information from this forum. As several other members have noted, it can basically be a tough and unrealistic crowd when compared to the actual market. The last LX I sold I listed it here for a week and had one tire kicker on it, then listed it on facebook and it sold within hours a full price. Just my opinion. Good luck either way.

Thank You @NoogaCruiser. I know what you mean. ;) Sometimes, you will get random honest feedback so that's why I asked. Of course, the buyer wants it at the lowest price and the seller wants to get the highest price. I just hope it goes to a nice home that will keep it in the condition it's in.

If you're not in a hurry you an always watch the market for a while & get a feel for pricing before you take a leap. Personally I would be happy with high $20s, low $30s then see how it goes. But, what do I know I've only sold 3 100-series at prices this forum claimed is impossible / crazy!

Thank you @kcobourn I just want to make sure I am not being crazy. I was hoping to get $25k especially since I had to pay a premium for my low miles replacement. I don't mind holding onto it till I find the right buyer. I just don't need it, work from home so don't need a car just sitting around. We'll find the right buyer. Thanks for the support.

I think that is a realistic ballpark as long as you're willing to be patient and wait for the right buyer. Personally, it seems a little high for me but LC vs. LX matters to me (even though I know it shouldn't), and Sand Dollar Pearl is probably my least favorite color these trucks came in. I'd be looking to find an LC in another color for that price.

But, I've said that to other owners/prospective buyers and SDP is their favorite to the point that they'd pay a premium, and most buyers don't care about the 'T' on the front. Just need to find that buyer and I think you'd get your asking price. Or you could drop it a few thousand and it would probably disappear within a week. Either way, GLWS.

I have a '99 LX 470, 255k miles, River Rock Green Mica, no rust other than some tiny specs here and there on the exterior body panels, paint is faded on the front hood and the roof, not tempted to test the sunroof but all other electrics are operational, Mickey Thompson's have about 15k miles left on them, recent TB/WP job done at 240k miles, AHC original and fully functional, stock center locking diff, front seats are ripped and need new covers, carpet is good, I have additional set of rims and the third row. I don't have pictures readily available but I'm curious to just see what the general take is..

Thanks @thezbone I agree with you on most of your points. I did NOT like the Sand Dollar Pearl till I bought this. I used to refer to it as the dingy white :-). Now that I got it, it's grown on me and I get compliments on how nice it looks. I will wash it and list it on FB marketplace and here as suggested. Hopefully, I can find the right buyer that will appreciate it for what it is.

Ha I totally understand. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and sometimes tastes change after spending time with something. I would definitely list it everywhere you can that is free - no reason not to. This forum is a tough place to sell being it's inhabited by finnicky enthusiasts but you never know and all it costs is a little of your time. GLWS. :)

i have a white 2003 Land Cruiser (texas no rust truck) with 234k miles with newly done timing belt , pulleys, belts, crank and cam seals with new fluids all around (documented).
Everything works (including sunroof & new antenna) and interior is in great condition.

What would the ball park value be?

13k-17k?

17-20k, is it stock?
yes, stock everything 18" wheels with new nitto grapplers. Even original owners manual, tools, and jack.

$20k

2007 Limited Edition (black over gray), 250k, 1 owner, almost all service records from local Lexus dealer. Clean carfax except one small front end collision for which the bumper was replaced. Functions 100%, including AHC (~12 grads, but appear to be original globes). Body 8+ ( two small dents, no large issues or rust), Interior 9 (extremely clean, minor wear to driver seat bolster). Undercarriage has some rust - mostly up front on the factory skid plate and the welds. Timing belt and water pump 20k miles ago along with brake lines, brakes, and AC lines. 90k service recently completed.

I paid 15k. I decided I preferred maintenance records and being well sorted over rust free.

wait really?
Prices are all over the place right now. A lot of it is that it seems like more inventory has come up in certain regions, so prices in those places is coming down. (Especially with price of gas being high) However, some locations with traditionally strong prices for 4x4 vehicles can still demand premiums. If you're patient and willing to work with out of town buyers, you can probably get more than you expected.

I would really hate to let mine go, and I don't plan to, but if someone randomly throws something crazy like $20k~ at me, I'd feel stupid to not take that offer. It's so hard to not treat this vehicle like a human.

A friend was telling me I can probably get $12k for my ‘04, 212k miles, here in TX even though is has a steering rack leak and a couple of other non mechanical issues. It has the Nav delete and 2” tough dog lift. I’ve been looking at CL & FB marketplace and some people are asking crazy prices
