For Sale Most recent 100 series prices

Let’s try this again, prior thread deleted, I assume they want to keep it clean, there was no explation given.

If you have sold a 100 series recently and want to share what you paid with details on truck this will be helpful for potential buyers currently looking.

This thread can be helpful for buyers looking to understand the market and different factors that come into play on pricing.

Please stay on topic!

I recently sold 2004 LX with 176k for 12,500. Truck was 9/10 on condition with full service records. Southern Vehicle no rust.

I decided against an 01 lx470 165k miles on it bc the paint was in worse shape than I originally thought (clear coat was gone on the entire roof and going on hood). It was $15k. There’s an 01 100 series now at the Chevrolet dealership in Fort Worth w 244k miles on it that’s also $15k. I gotta believe (read hope) prices are about to correct here in the next 6 months to a year where $15k gets a great daily driver candidate 100 series under 200k miles with great service history/but things done.

Was the one you passed on based in Georgia? Curious if it was the same one I was looking at. The paint job on it was very disheartening. Otherwise vehicle was great.

Yep. Already bought plane ticket, had everything lined up. Dude sent me a walk around video and the roof was completely toast. Clear on the hood was going (that isn’t a big fix). Then tells me the antenna broke so the radio no longer worked and a hole got made in the drivers seat since pics.

Looks like someone bought it, brought it up to Cincinnati and already has it relisted on FB.

100% that’s the same one. Wonder what they uncovered to make them try to flip it? At least the new ad shows all the paint issues. There’s one down in Texas right now with 115k miles that seems decent but the price is high imo @18k.

Sold my '99 a few weeks ago... Didn't want to but the wife is happier and another LC or LX could be in my future.

99 with 260k~ miles for $7500 in good mechanical condition. Front seat leathers are ripped, exterior has blemishes, no rust though and original AHC was functional. Glad it went to another loving home. Guy was coming from a rusted out 3rd Gen 4R and shared my excitement from when I first bought it.

Finally, the correct use of this thread lol good call brother happy wife happy life and all that jazz. That’s a great price and probably the first reasonable sale in a while. Godspeed in your search for the next rig!

Thank you! I'm almost curious if the 100 series LC/LX market would cool a bit if a large group of owners sold their rigs for half of what they're posted for. Originally posted for $15k on here and Facebook but eventually broke it in half to make everyone happy. In the end, I don't regret it because even at $7500, I still made a little money on it.

Right on profits are profits! Let’s just all pool our rigs together and have one of those stealerships do a group buy…

Where are most having luck selling their Hundys? I’ve had mine posted on Mud, local Craigslist, and OfferUp for a month with not one single inquiry. Maybe I’m asking for too much $$$ or not marketing well enough but I thought demand was higher for them.

I’ve had much better luck on Facebook marketplace than mud or CL.

Same. That goes for pretty much anything I sell unless it's small/a niche hobby then eBay. Marketplace is annoying as s*** to search, use, and deal with but it's where most people are these days unfortunately.

People on here are going to bust your balls - rightfully so, it's an enthusiast forum after all. Although, I'm surprised you haven't gotten any hits from CL. Price might be too high for the current demand.

Same boat broski, - For some weird reason no one wants to buy my stockish 250,00 mile 99 LX for $25K…

I posted mine on CL, FB and forum. Got most response from the FB. But the two buyers who were actually seriously interested both found my truck here on MUD.

Out local Acura dealer has an LX470 for sale for $32K!!
That one is interesting. Been on CarGurus for 32 days. Originally asking $29,957. I assume they got a number of calls, as it went up to $37,957 pretty quickly. All with no pictures. I emailed about pictures on July 9, and got a response that they were up on July 13. But no undercarriage pictures, which I mentioned in my July 9 email. No response from them.
