I got the Mosley PS line. The only way I can see to route it based on the bends it came with in the hard line portion of the line, is to route it back and parallel to the drivers side exhaust manifold, then it make the other line coming out of the steering box almost impossible to connect. Am I missing something? Doesn't seem correct but I can't route it differently without buying extra fittings and then I'll have more leak points. Does anyone have a picture of a Mosely motors line in an FJ62 1988?

My threaded hole faces forward. Must be a different power steering unit. Yours is facing the rear. I have a 2000 Tahoe motor.
that would be some one of a kind pump. They all should have the saginaw pumps. The basic design didn't change from the 60s until at least 2012. Small changes
over the years like standard thread to metric thread on mounting holes and changing keyed pump shafts that changed to press on in the mid 70s were the big
changes. Only the reservoirs changed from model to model but the pump pump output has always been on the rear otherwise the pulley would cover the output.
They were so consistent that the pulley on your 1990 truck was the same pulley on you 2014.
This should be the pump on a Tahoe. The white plug is your output

Here's a picture, the port is forward. This was a junkyard engine. I guess someone put this pump on. Maybe i should just buy the correct pump.
The barbed tube is the return line. The pressure port will be low on the back, about 5/8~ 3/4" in diameter female threaded port
 
Check to see it that cast piece removes from the back. The pump presses into the front of the reservoir. The output will pass through the sheet metal reservoir
tank. Need a pic of the back of the pump

Here's the part number, I'm going to look it up. It could be that the portion that has the port can be reversed to face the other direction.
 
You have one of the odd variable assist pumps. Swap it out for the more common style.

There was a manifold like that bolted to the back of some applications but they are electronically controlled. The manifold can be removed but you may have to replace it
with the standard pressure union fitting on the back , depending if the manifold was bolted to that fitting or completely replaced the fitting. That fitting
engages the flow control valve. . Your flow control valve is electronically controlled. You could pull it but the internals may not work with the conventional pressure union.
The pump bodies are basically the same so you can replace it with a non electronic pump without any additional mounting hardware.
I'd be inclined to pull it apart just to see what's inside. there will be a spring and valve behind that mess.

behind it will be a flow valve which can be modified for higher or low flow and pressures

That's good information. I just picked up a new pump but before I install it I was going to see if I could remove the parts on the back and install the Mosley line to it and delete the wiring.
