Thanks Ramon.

For those wondering, the only ground welds are on the front faces of the crossmember. All other welds are open for criticism.

I grind better than I weld. Every time I run a nice bead I spend the rest of the session trying to figure out what I did right. Nice work..

We're mobile again.

Picked up this kit to go from the m10x1.5 banjo bolts on the caliper to -3an, then from -3an to 3/16" hard lines on the frame (with tabs). Also grabbed the same union / soft line to go from the axle to the frame as is used on the 14 bolt in the rear. Picked up some 3/16" line from Autozone and got to work.

Welded the soft-hard line tabs to the u-bolt plates and made a bracket to bolt the union to one of the diff cover bolts.

First time on 4 wheels for over a month. One tire was a little flat, so aired it up while idling for 20min or so to ensure I had no oil leaks.

Took her for a spin! Got the new turbo up to 26psi, highest I've ever seen it. She's a screamer too :grinpimp:

Frame height is ~26.5" in the front. Doesn't look like I gained much of anything.

She drives pretty good!! Alignment seems to be almost perfect. Steering is a little stiff, but I'm not sure if that's because of my kingpin preload, because of my PS fluid being a bit low or because I have yet to grease my TREs. That's alright though, because she drives!!!

Tomorrow will be the first day I've driven myself to work in about a month. Looking forward to it.

Booya!!! Nice work brother.

Looks awesome man!

A great look. Well done.

I thought about Moonshine when I was pumping gas yesterday right where some guys were pouring concrete. I looked under the front the concrete mixer and saw ....

For the NEXT time it's time for an upgrade.

 Not big enough. What size axles did they use to move the space shuttle with?

Johnny, why didn't you upgrade the front and rear to Rockwells?

10.5" rear and 9" front.

Well I do have a 10.5" rear now. I will have to measure what the front ring gear is :D

Gotta leave a project for next year! You can't just do everything in one shot and expect it to be "done"

Looks great! What turbo are you running now?

I'm running what's called a "Super HX30w". It has a 46mm inducer on the compressor (40mm is regular HX30w size) with a 6cm2 turbine housing. The compressor has a 4" inlet (same as the HX35) and a v-band outlet that's also the same as the HX35. It's gated at 25psi right now, but that'll change :D

Nice. I was very happy with my plain old HX30W. Fast spool up and great boost.

I was thinking about you while driving around yesterday, back to my bad advice to buy the HX30w with the 12cm2 housing. EGTs are cooler, boost is higher and life is better with the smaller turbine housing!!!

holy long hubs batman ;)

Looks great brotha

Pretty sure you've hit the limit of axles and gearing now... anything bigger and the super low gearing won't make that 4bt happy on the hwy at all

I think I'm going to stick with these axles for quite a while :D
