Looking good! Do they blink yet?

Update Please :-) . I've had nothing to read at work at 0200 in two days...C'mon! Some people live vicariously through the good posts on Mud...Keep up the work on the 40! Looking great.

I ordered tires today and should be picking up a roll cage Sunday if it looks good. I sat in him today...I really like the smell.

Which roll cage?

If you are going to use a stock 40 bar, I've read that you'll need a few extra important things...such as the support brackets that go in the rear wheel wells, and the extensions brackets to re-install the long jump seats

On the Painless Wiring-they do sell at a premium.

I used a Kwik-Wire that is about 1/2 the price of painless, but equally good quality. It's got the same GM color conventions, labled wires, etc. Just a thought.

Seriously, though, if you have not done it yet, contact Coolerman. He makes new Toyota harnesses, or can sell you the proper connectors and correct color wire to repair yours.

x2 on trying to repair the factory harness, versus the painless (painful) kit.
x2 on MetalTech stuff, too......good quality. Note that you'll need to fit and weld their stuff. The CL one you're looking at would be sufficient, I would think. Of course, if you plan to drive a lot with the top off, you really should consider a cage and not just a roll bar.

Carb installed, needs some tweaking I think. Some cables too. It won't start tho.

I did not install it and it was the one that was in the box that came with the 40. The ex has not came back to finish so looks like I need to work this out somehow.

Nice and clean! That looks great. Everything is all hooked up and it still wont start? Hopefully Mark or Jim will chime in here with some help. If all you changed was the carb then it has to be fuel related. Have you tried some starting fluid in the carb? I am sure someone will post with help shortly.
