Modified Kaymar Rear Bumper?

I'd love to see some more photos of the side protection/mounting of this bumper. How is it tied into the frame? What gauge steel?

The side protection is 5/16 plate that is bent to follow the contour of the side of quarter panel and bends underneath the rocker. The forward end of the side protection is connected to the rear body mount using a z-bracket. The bumper bolts to the frame in about seven locations on each frame rail.

hey anybody know where i can get a rear bumper with a tire carrier for a 89 fj-62. Im only 16 so my funds are kinda limited but im open to any suggestions.

Here is the rear end of my truck. Kaymar isnt available anymore for the 60 series anyway! I got one of the last ones. What bumper IS that anyway Ex?

Kaymar's are still available yes, I dont know why someone would think otherwise.

Yeah, I agree, I've never been a big fan of the Kaymar. Good quality, just not very good looking.

I don't mind the appearance of the Kaymar, but I want something I can bolt a sheet of diamond plate to the top of so I can use it for a step. And I want something I can easily put sliders on to protect my quarters,like what you've got. Did you have yours custom made or is it a Kaymar? I'm half asleep here so my brain is short circuiting...

baldylox, it seems the driver's side is longer to accomidate the spare tire... Can you get it with the long side on the passenger side? I've got a slight lean to the drivers side and gotta have the spare on the passenger side to help it out a bit...
