It’s easy to mod yourself. Aisin FTC-049 is adjustable and available on Amazon. Also order up some 10 or 15 weight silicone oil. I got some online from a RC hobby shop (pic below).

The factory oil is something like 5 CST. I used straight 20 but I live in phoenix and the fan locks up hard all summer, which works great. I probably wouldn’t use 20 if I lived anywhere else.

If you buy one already modded, most likely you’ll need to open it up to adjust it to your truck anyway.

I don’t know of any. It’s easy to do yourself. Just need a proper thermometer and an electric kettle. And some silicone fluid, of course.

taking off and putting it on is 90% of the work. don’t spend $200 to have some one sell you one. yours will work fine with very little work and a $15 bottle of silicone fluid from your nearest hobby store!! it really is dead easy

Hi, is there a writeup of how to do this properly and all the parts I need??

i think this is it.

Lots of threads in the 80 series. 3FE is actually a green hub but instructions are the same with the Blue hub. Break loose bolts, heat in oven (around 225), remove bolts while wearing oven mitts or welding gloves, separate halves, careful with quad ring, drain both halves, refill after an hour or two with 50ml 15K. Put back together with quad ring and tighten bolts. Didn't adjust the set screw. My experience was too thick (20K) will leave it locked up while running down the highway during summer. Hope that helps.
