Thanks for that. Been to all but the last 3 on the list. Not sure why we didn't stop at Dismal's Canyon, because we passed right by it going to and from Mardi Crawl....oh well. Never heard of the other two, but I plan to see them

I went to Dismals. It's cool. Natural Bridge is really really cool.

I met a ranger from Russell whe we were making arrowheads. He said you can't go in anymore due to some disease humans pass to Bats.

SMH.

White nose syndrome. It's what closed most of the Ark. caves. It's drastically killed a bunch of the bat population.

It's rampant among bats and the student body at Alabama.

3 hour wandering ride througj insane topography I didnt realize with lots of wildlife

It's a little place in the Depot that was closed.

Btw tomorrow is the 100 year anniversary of the National Park system.

I follow a cool Facebook page called SHOW ME YOUR MISSISSIPPI I screenshot cool places I want to see. This place is just west of the Trace south of Tupelo Pontocola Rd......

After my lunch meeting in Tupelo I took the slow road to Oxford. I decided to check out downtown Ponotoc. Very very cool town. Serious history here. Chickasaw, French/Indian, 1812, Civil......all fought on this high ground.
