this snake picture made me tee tee on myself.
 
Working in the Delta today. Decided to take a break and found Bear Lake just north of Marks. It's on a hunting camp, but the old guy that was out here said to help myself. I love the Delta. View attachment 1321561

Diamondback watersnake. This one looks kinda small, a large adult will be 4+ feet in length. They're harmless and feed on fish and frogs. Common in the swamps and backwaters of rivers of the lower Mississippi basin.

Cool. Knew it wasn't poisonous from the head shape, but had no idea what kind. This one was about 2 feet.
