Loaded up the 4 Runner for the first time and took a little day trip. First stop was the Old Country Store in Lorman for some fried chicken. Then we stopped at the Windsor Ruins and on the way home we stopped by the MS River Basin model. It was a great day.

Just a question, if anybody does weekend trips please let me know and I would love to join. We are planning on day tripping once a month and I know that we are new members but would love to meet everyone.

Yeah you asked me that on pm. I'll toss out that response here. When I did all of these routes I was working for a corporation and driving was most of my day. Now I work for myself and if I'm in Mississippi I'm billing hours in my shop.

That said, a group that I've been using their GPS tracks out west asked me to put together some tracks for their page so I may be re running a few tracks this summer to document them for their page.

I know that it is late but I wanted to extend an invitation to everyone that we are planning on going out to Mammy’s Cupboard in Natchez for pie and then coming home through Rocky Springs ghost town and possibly Rodney or Vicksburg Military Park. Hopefully to leave around 9:30 or 10.

We had a great time, we were originally headed to Mammy’s Cupboard but my wife said that she has never been to Natchez so I offered to have lunch in Natchez and she said yes. My mother-in-law joined us as well and we had lunch at Magnolia Grill and the food was great. Then came back through Rocky Springs and walked the trails for a bit and walked through the church. Go USA soccer. Great time was had by all. Thank you @wngrog for the directions.
