Oh Uncle Aaron...
This weekend is a good one to do some blasting in the shop if you still have a need to blast.
And I'm sure she will do just that in no time....
what a shame to have 81 pages of buildup and not be able to drive it in the winter. C'mon man. If you wanted a collector car, get a collector car. You bought a Landcruiser! At very least drive it and wash the salt off after.
What was the point por-15 on the entire undercarrige if you are still terrified of rust? Sorry, nice 40 nun the less.

I have a truck if I need 4x4. its a 8-9 month a year truck for me. trust me I need to do a better job of driving it period. maybe 3000 miles on in 4 years.... I would not call that a success............ :whoops:

I finally was able to finish the “little” bumper project I had going.. well I lied.. I still have to finish the jack carrier bracket, but otherwise it is done. I had these sand blasted a while ago. Then the snow started falling again which halted the project.
So whatever coating came on these it was garbage, like the metal was not prepped correctly. Blasted and coated them with etch primer.
I wanted to shoot the sliders and basket with SEM coating. Same as I did on the inside of the tub. I like the durability. Blah blah… pics say it all.
Looks great. What did you use for the swing-out spindles? I'm looking to modify my existing bumper and build a double swing out, I'd like to do something similar with the spindles, mounting them on the ends of the bumper as yours are.
Thanks.
