maybe spider lake? how far is that from my house? only been there on sled not by road...

Its not to far from your place. Just have to head north and turn left when you would turn right to got to your cabin and it 10-15 miles down hwy 2.

I know… especially since we speak almost daily… we could talk about this kind of stuff in person… but ted keeps staring into my eyes…….. so I guess he post the mindless questions on here? :flipoff2:

Ted… Scuba Steve will not be there.

I this thread over?

Hey bud!!!!!!!!! Cramer and I were just talking about u tonight!!!

No my truck is not done ... more to come. But now it seems like everything I want to do costs lots :-)

apete 74, is that what I am about to start

Just got 74 fj40. Not as rough as yours, but close. Ordered bunch of parts, brakes, knuckle rebuild, gaskets and soft stuff. Every time I look at it I deside to go farther with the rebuild.

Lets see……… It has been so darn long since anything has been updated here… lots has been going on.. not much on the cruiser. Lots of cruiser related stuff…

Spent some time down at Steve’s place and we put an engine out of a fj40 into his 45 pick up. He is in the process of getting that all fixed up and on the road a gain. Probably lots more pics to come. Going to be an ongoing project for a while I think.

Few pics of us before and after… I wish I would have documented pics better. Our goal was to get the engine out and put the new one in and be driving Saturday evening. We rolled out of the garage at 11:59 no BS.. more has been done since these pics, we put a bumper and PTO on it the weekend after this. Not pics of that yet. Like I said way more to come, I plan to stay involved in this project. It is way cheaper working on other peoples stuff :D

Last but not least, my sister got married in Hawaii a few weeks ago…. Lots of friends and relatived showed up so it was awesome. Although Steve was invited he never told anyone he was going………. Soooooooooooooooooo the day of the wedding Steve and Ed showed up and surprised everyone….(oh and they showed up in a new vette, hahaha, Ed kept saying "yea were the guys in the vette.. awesome!!:D) It was so awesome!! We hung out in Maui for a day an then I headed to Oahu with them for a day and a half. We went to see all the military bases and took a tour on the USS Missouri and went to Pearl Harbor of course. On Sunday morning I headed back to Maui to join my family again, those guys stayed there!! Although it was short time hanging out it was great!! I didn’t get many pics of stuff over there because Ansel Adams (Steve) was with and he takes pics of everything so I will get those next time I am down there.
