picking up at machine shop and unloading it to the LCR4WD shop

on engine stand... looking through the OEM gasket kit from Cdan

getting the front plate ready to go on...

Steve did help me put in the Cam... I was toooooo scared... of what I dont know.... after watching it done... guess there was no tricks to it...

getting timing cover on... and just a pic of the cleaned up oil pan and side cover and timing cover... took a while to clean off the old gasket material

everything is being assemb. using OEM toyota sealer.... stuff is the bomb... expensive... but worth it in the end...


we had to pull this land rover to the front of the shop... someone from MI came and bought it... very cool truck... looks like a lot of work...

had to put a wear sleeve on my front pully as it had big groove it in...

engine turned over ready for pan

Ted came out to work on his 4runner.... the old girl has had a real ruff life....

here is a broken frame up front... Ted spend the day making gusset plates for this... I did not get anymore pics of the final project completed because he was stil working on it when I left on sunday

cleaned up my head bolts... started to set the valves.... OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH s***TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! then engine is hitting somthing as you rotate it.... STEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEVVVVVVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! helppppp..... I messed up.........


flip engine over.... take off oil pan... again..... find out crank is hitting the oil pump... take off oil pump grind to fit....


clean toyota gasket material off.... again... I love this part...

put new gasket back on.... thank god steve has s*** laying around... or I would have been done for the day...

had the machinist drive out the bb in oil galley and tap and put plug in there... we are here... might as well do it..


rolled outside sunday... with all stuff on it...

I did get it unloaded, cleaned and painted last night... these are really horse s*** pics... had my camera on the wrong setting.... I also test fitted new headers... I will get better picks tonight...

nope just going to take it back to the exhaust shop and have them make a 2 to 1 collector for it...
