haha... will probably wheel more than mine... think all mine will be used for is driving to the lake in the summer...
unless I figure out it can pick up chicks... think I will need more than a FJ to do that...

got brand new alum. running boards that came with my tub if you are interested... I got those 4Plus rock sliders so I will not be using them..

Got some stuff done this weekend..... My dad, Brother and Wheeler came up sat. to help me get my lift running again.. we ended up taking all the cables off and starting over, think I ran one of the cables wrong before that is why it kept wanting to push the pully off... got that all done and started out on my oil pan replacement project. Pretty much followed Steves thread here... so I will not describe it all again...

got a used pan from D'animal... it was in great shape and Dan gave me a hell of a deal on it... Thanks man!!! I got that all cleaned up and the old gasket scraped off.. had to work a while to get all the old gasket sealer off but it all came off without a problem... Threw a new coat of pant on it and let it dry for a while... The old pan came off with really no problems.. ( I can not imagine doing this with out a lift... for all of you guys doing this.. you got my simpathy.... I had a difficult enought time getting it all lined up not laying on my back) Anyhow I also had a leak that I thought was coming from the front timing chain cover but on closer inspention it was coming from the front of the oil pan... I also see that the engine builder did not use any gasket sealer on the old pan at all...
to make a long story short... got it all up and put oil in it... ran it for a min or so... no leaks and not from the front of the pan where the other leak was from... pretty happy I dont have to take that all apart and put a new gasket on there...

also got my U bolts cut off, took the hubs off and put new gasket on them and also put the snap ring in there... I did not have to correct tool to do that when I rebuilt those knuckles.. had to borrow one from Steve... also changed my tie rods around... Think I fxxxed one up however.... 
I dont think I want to take a chance on running it like it is... so I will have to get another one...

Also had the cops stop by the shop last week... seems Sawyer was out in the yard and wondered over to the neighbors yard (which he goes over there all the time, because the other neighbor give him treats) any way this old hag calls the cops and said Sawyer growled at her... This is a neighbor that I have never met and she told the cops that she did not want to come over and meet me because there are "too many crazy people in the world today" ....
So the cop was super cool actually.. hung out in the shop for a while played with sawyer and said "yea he is no threat to anyone but a tennis ball" and any of you that know him, know that he is all about playing, follows directions, and if he has one flaw is that he is too friendly and gets too excited to meet new people...
The s***ty thing over this whole deal is that he had to write a report so now my pouch has a record... so if there ever any other problem now it will be his second offense... hope the old hag dies soon...

well I thought about that... I can not imagine how pissed off I would be... so if anything happens I do know where to look..................... if my posting suddenly stops, you know what happend!!!
I am in jail and the Hag died a slow painful death!!!
Just thought of this. Go register you dog with a different name. Say the one you had is gone, and you got a new one.

I had a wedding thing on saturday afternoon... so I changed the oil in my honda on saturday morning..... I dont remember the rest of the day
did I call you??? lots of people got calls about 4-5 AM might have passed out before I got to the "s" in my phone book... I will move you up in the list... then you will for sure get a call on my random drunk dialing adventures... I went out to the shop yesterday and was going to take the carb off so I could send it to JimC.... but I almost puked by the time I took off the first nut... so I said fxxx this and went in and laid on the couch... that is where I was all day.... I decided I dont do hang-overs anymore..........
so no I got nothing done... those brake line dies should be here thursday... I also ordered my SEM so that will be here this week.. maybe this weekend I might try to shoot some of that on one of the fenders...

Well I guess not a ton done last week… but I am moving in the right direction.. I got my SEM on Friday. I had to go to the body shop/paint store to get a pint of color (mixed without the binder, I suggest bringing your SEM can with you as they really look at you funny when you tell them to leave out the binder )
Last week I got my fenders out and sanded all the stickers off and also scuffed everything up.. same with the tranny hump. I hung them from the ceiling and shot 3 coats of etching primer on them.. I was hoping this SEM would come before the weekend so I wanted to be ready when it did..

SEM cans (Matt I see you have become so popular with the SEM boys that the cans are now coming from the factory dented )
Also a few pics of the gun I used… just a under coating gun. I just took Matts advise and used that ½” tip, I did not even try the others… It seems to shoot really well…

a few prep shots... took a while to tape these things up... all I did was scuff the primer lightly with 3M scuff pad.. probably would not have needed to..
