This info may already be floating around out there somewhere but I couldn't find it. From an OEM pump to a mini truck box, the pressure side hose I ended up with is for a 1982 60 series. 25 inches long. A little longer than I wanted but seems to work. 26 bucks

Nice, what did you coat those intake and exhaust manifolds with, ceramic powder coat?

The curly-Q routing of the pressure hose is not ideal. High pressure hoses should not be twisted in such a manor. I am not sure how big a deal this is as I do not know the maximun presssure output of the pump.

P.S.: be sure to tighten up your sector shaft nut!

very clean looking engine, I'd like to know what you used on that exaust manifold too.

Dan, Thanks for the input. That's the kind of feedback I was hoping to get.
The quest continues. As for the manifold coating, got it done @
performance about $275.00. Back to me in less than a week.

twist

is it possible to loosen and twist the ends to get a better run on that line?

I'm pretty sure I've twisted it in all possible positions. Be nice if the ends swiveled but they are fixed. Here's the first way I had it and without the insulator.

Er um...... a little embarrassed here that I didn't think of that myself.
It's done and looks right. Thanks a ton cruiseronly.

That's what the board is for....help.

Post pics of the fix...

Are you running a factory pump or saginaw? I'm going this way soon and appreciate the post on the line. thanks Ken

Jim's right of course. I came across this other hose kit first while on the hunt and thought I had it figured out. However, the pressure side hose will get you from the mini truck gear box to a GM pump. (canned ham style). Even with the five fitting that shipped with it, I couldn't make the connection to the OEM pump. Bummer cause it's good quality. If I lived in a place where fittings could be found, probably would have worked out. I'll save it for future projects. Return side worked out fine. Purchased from Classic Performance. 1-800-522-5004. Part #5356THK $75.00

Thats the kit I need...

I'll subscribe to this thread and look into the kit shown above. I believe I only need to fab a high pressure hose and I can wing the rest with hose and a mintruck pws cooler. Thanks for the update here and the info.

Here's a pic of the hose I ended up going with on my OEM pump to mini-truck box conversion:

It is NAPA # 7-1843 and ran me a little less than $40. This is how we ran it:

Also considered using this one:

but it rubbed just slightly on the pre-heater hose. It you didn't have the preheater, it would work just fine. Both hoses have the 16mm inverted flare fittings at both ends......
