I had to bore out the center hole to fit the Pro Comp leaf springs.
The alignment pin/nut was just a little to big and wouldn't fit cleanly in the holeI recently picked up a set of pro comp springs for my 81. What's up with having to drill out the center hole. Can you provide more specifics? Thanks
Glad to be seeing a build thread for this one...
Don't paint it!
Sorry, I couldn't resist. Looking forward to seeing you make this your own.

yes those early 69 40's are odd balls for parts but I love mineWow ours are pretty close. Mine is 63530. Lots of different parts and hard to find!View attachment 2431269
Jt outfitters makes an adapter spacer to move the booster out but depending on the master starts to get close to the carbI have been temped to take the plunge and buy a kit. The whole booster/master cylinder thing is confusing on the 69’s because of the rib that runs down the firewall where the booster mounts. I am glad to know you are satisfied with the performance of front disc brakes while using the non boosted MC.
