Received a package from @orangefj45 today. Such a great guy to deal with...a short conversation over the weekend went something like this...hey Georg, I need a transfer case kit for an FJ62...sure, we have them in stock, you'll need the gasket for the vacuum, I'll throw that in the box and get it shipped out Monday...sounds good thanks...thanks have a good weekend...
Short, efficient, and no worries about whether I'm getting the right parts. And the calendar is very cool.

That dash job is outstanding! So you can feel the cracks below the repairs or you can seenew cracks peeking out from the repaired edges? It’s really a very amazing chore you took on. I totally commend you for trying it out. I have some cracks but I kinda like them. They’re not like those were but they make me think of age spots in a sense. She’s come a long way. :)

Thanks. There are new cracks where I didn't repair, and after parking it in the sun all day and bringing it back to the garage, a crack along one of the repaired edges. That old vinyl just doesn't have any flex left. It was a fun project even with the fail at the end. A good autobody guy could knock this job out.

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO:rofl:,four eyes on a 60, that's a good one.

That really is a remarkable transformation. Looking forward to your TC rebuild posts. I'll be pulling mine in the spring when I do my 1HZ swap (85 FJ60, H55 combo now). Figure as long as I have it out for the swap, I shoud do some maintenance on it.
Thanks, just waiting on the gears to arrive, should be here Tuesday.

Looks like you were able to get the headlight retainer removed safely.
A little more drilling on those screws and the heads popped off. We were almost there. Thanks again for the parts.

Heck, the press is 97% of the tooling...
